Lovely fellas who helped. Glad you are both ok. Scary place to have a drop. (x Honest O’P)

Lucky really, especially with what seems to be a wannabe racer behind him 😅

Glad you’re ok. If you ride a bike long enough, this will happen. Glad you were both wearing gear. Don’t let this mishap discourage you from continued adventures! Ride safe…🙏🏻🏍🙏🏻

Many thanks. We continue with our adventures 😎👍

Been there done that 😳 luckily both myself and my pillion were ok and some chaps from a local pub came over to help out but by the time they got to me I'd already got my GS upright through a mixture of embarrassment and adrenaline. Some selfish car drivers behind you though just sitting there and not getting out to help which for them was counter productive as they had to sit there longer. Glad to hear no real damage done to either of you or the bike. Mine was down to operative error, failing to plan properly for the downhill give way with a restricted view. Instead of planning to stop and put a foot down I tried to get away with a feet up get away which didn't work out!

Ahh mate, gutted for you... I've had my trousers catch on the footpeg a few times, luckily never long enough to lose balance. Glad only minor damage and you are both mostly ok. Was refreshing that the drivers were not honking horns and actually came and helped you get the bike up too! 🙂

We were very grateful to the drivers. Also relieved that there was nothing too injured. At my age I worry about an injury that will stop me riding.

@@Dereksol yeah, we break easier and take a lot longer to fix after too!

I constantly hit my boots on my pegs and stand when walking the bike forward so I can relate to this, not so much of an issue for me but I do feel it catch the footpeg when I raised my foot up as I pull away which is annoying, just the difference of me wearing full leathers so it snags it with my boots lip. I'll probably have this issue when wearing my kevlar jeans 😂

a bike drop is just a common thing, nothing to worry about!

Not to worry, almost went down on my bike today as my foot was on the brake waiting to turn right across traffic, had the wheel angled in ready to turn and just a little too upright with this wind and had to put my foot down 😅

😭 nightmare, it's that awful split second that you know you're going over. I dropped my brand new hornet in a car park kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jL5lfduXrbXahY0.htmlsi=VRngkEJEkofhSvVY&t=1224 (chopped it in for my Transalp now). Props for showing it, many of us have had similar, it comes with the territory. Hope you're both on the mend.

Thank you. Enjoy that Transalp 👍

Split second? I fell over on my 125 trying to do a U turn on incline and realised I couldn't put my foot down because I'm a dummy and went down in slow motion 😂❤ Luckily I can do 8 squats of 140kg, but if I dropped my 2002 fzs600 I would just sit there and cry no joke. I can't even lift the back end against my hip to rotate the bike like i did with my 125 😅

Glad you're both ok.But really annoying when you do that. Dropped mine a couple of times now. Once was riding off with the disc lock on 😕
