Loved your riding and your reasoning with your riding, and nice smooth chilled riding which means your pillion is banging around behind you and you both get to enjoy a great ride together making lovely memories.

Nice one Derek, one of my ancestors was the landlord at the Red Lion Pub, did you know it’s the most haunted pub in the UK. Surprised you didn’t go up Porlock Hill, cracking ride up there. Cheddar is lovely 👍🏻

@MrSTAdventures nice one. We thought the pub was a great place/location for lunch. I did consider Porlock but it was just a step too far to do in a 2 day trip. We have done Porlock hill, Valley of Rocks and a couple of the toll lanes a while back. There should be a couple of videos of them posted in the past. We will be back soon 😎👍

It is very good/wholesome and not expensive. Probably crowded on a good weather weekend but worth doing lunch there 😎👍

Bit of advice from an old biker, (55 ) years on the road. When overtaking trucks twist that grip on the right handlebar it’s amazing how quick you can safely return to your side of the road.

It's not the vehicle but the driver....in just over sixty years riding I've seen this ...and worse many times. Its not always those driving 'Top End Cars' but any number of other lesser vehicles...Its just that its those few who get all the attention on KZfaq...My only advice is treat 'all' Cagers as possible assassins, and act accordingly...as you did in this particular incident...
