The AI Rework is one of the bigger focuses from the Developers to come to the game in the near future, this was first teased at teh start of the year in January and further expanded on in the February development blog, however, this video goes over EVERYTHING We know so far about this upcoming overall of the aquatic life in the game, and the Critters in the game.

Path of Titans is an upcoming MMO RPG Dinosaur survival game, created by Alderon Games. The game has been in production for just over a year and is already looking set to become one of the most successful dinosaur games of all time.
Path of Titans is set to enter early access in September 2020 and has already racked up over $300,000 from crowdfunding. It has an extremely dedicated community and a dedicated team of developers who are providing huge amounts of content for us.

Play the Isle, they have all kinds of roaming AI like frog, deer, boar, school of fish, etc. Recently they also add Juvenile AI of those creature i mention above

I want the kelp sharks/ what will be replacing em to be agressive bastards. Like attacking a full grown spino for no reason then start running away until the combat timer runs out. Rinse and repeat.

I'm still holding out hope we eventually see fishing in rivers shallow enough to stand in. Not all piscivores are great swimmers and would prefer to stand in shallow water and snatch up fish that swim close enough.

I hope the critter's attack wouldn't be so painful because they are originally meant to be juvies food. If juvies can't hunt them because their damage is unsustainable to juvi carnies, then it lost its purpose.

@@ken6056 i mean rhamp are not meant to hunt those critters. They supposed to catch small fishes. They can fly and swim really well for a reason.

The Shark, Barracuda (cause they are like the Hornets of the Ocean. Really. They are assholes irl), Squids/ Ammonites, and I'd be okay with Catfish being mean. As for land... I want Critters as a playable faction in addition to their AI. Let me some of us play a true horror of an experience.

I'm still hoping for coelacanths. Imagine seeing trilobites, too, at least in the shallower areas in the ocean. They did say Devonian era will be included.

1:05 - I don't know why they chose modern day marine animals. There are prehistoric Mobulids (Manta Rays), Molids (Sunfish), Dermatochelyids and Cheloniids (Sea Turtles), and Scombrid (Mackerels) counterparts.

I'll chuck a bone at the idea the fish we currently have are part of an aquatic pack for UE so it was easy for them to get some food in the oceans while they work on the AI they want to have.

I haven't even started the video yet but if only you could have heard the sound I made when I saw the title/thumbnail. I don't think I've ever made a sound like that before. Post Video Edit: "The AI is angrier than ever." -Velo Me: "The Toxicity of Global Chat has infected the Critters." 🤔 soon you'll see: "EZ (Dino name)!" - Platyhistrix Bot 69420 in global. I really hope they can maybe split dev time and energy towards AI development. They need it so the Quest rework can move along. And so Singleplayer mode can become the stuff of legend! Also if they get aggressive a gag mode of playing as Critters could be fun. Could have critter raid parties/armies. 😂

Sounds like they might be doing A.I critters and fish first as a test before the Dino's but hopefully more land based A.I comes as well as aquatic too but also they need to add flyer A.I

Ngl I hope we do still get the crocs and alligators those would be so cool to have on the river of Pangea and Gondwa and tbh the kelp shark I feel should be aggressive if attacked if not attacked then maybe not but if someone were to attack it I feel like it should have that aggression mode.i can’t wait for all theses new ai animals!

There are fish that fill you up with one fish. There sould be a terrestrial critters that do the same.

I hope the Manta Rays and Stingrays stay in the game. I love seeing them swim near my prehistoric ocean dwelling beasts. Especially the Manta Rays. I'm a big fan of ocean animals in general and Manta Rays alongside sharks and sea turtles are my favorites.

Im very skeptical on whether AI should be the focus for the dev team. Though it must be part of thier long term strategy considering they have had a singleplayer mode nobody plays since launch. Lol fingers crossed that it gets executed well.

I honestly don't mind the modern creatures in the game. I mean, we're closer in time with T-rex than T-rex is with Stegosaurus so since they're mixes times that span so much, I don't see an issue with it. I'm just curious on how they'll explain these creatures, many of which would never have even known the othe existed, have come together. The Isle has humans bringing them to life via JP style. Can't wait to see what POT thinks of. Be fun if they went something similar to the TV series "Primeval" with portals through time dumping them all on the island or something.

They should really add crocs to the swamp. What if they had eggs and if you ate their eggs you got XP. I really like your idea about large sharks in the sea, kind of like an AI apex that would be either impossible to defeat on your own or very hard, like an EO trike on land. It would be good if the devs implemented appropriate turning radius to these aggressive AI as they do the current dinosaurs. Additionally, I wonder if they’d ever add flying AI like small birds that roost in nests in trees that you could “shake” their nests while precise moving in the air, or interacting once with in the air.

Oh ai critters.... That isnt gonna really change anything beside it not running away and disappear into a rock. We need actual ai dinos roaming around so the game dont feel so dead roaming around. Havnt touched this game in a month or two. Waiting for a drastic change like team deathmatch something besides questing to get marks. Can only try to make it fun for so long til it just gets to repetitve. I want to get into the game again but im waiting for big changes to come.

Yeah I really hope they stick with things that are like critters I would hate getting killed by a ai cera or conc. Like for instance groups of moschops or smaller grouping critters that depending on their group sizes they will fight back.

The end goal is to have AI dinos. I think their recent dev video said they plan to top servers at 125 or 150 players while AI fills up the resources that would have allowed 200 ppl. The devs hope to use AI to make survival mode an actual survival mode as AI would make Mixpacking (Carni + Herb) significantly more challenging. They are hoping the PvP modes will serve as the "Must PvP non-stop" fix for the PvP crowd while survival becomes much more about questing, migrating, and staying alive. Additionally, it'll make single player mode fully viable. Which is good cause it'll give folks stuff to do when at work and be a safe mode for the game's young audience/demographic. I'm all for it. Kind of tired of every Path stream just being Impact Crater/SLL/LBM or mindless wandering for Acorns. AI will really change up the game.

@@temujinchannel8584 Critters I see being improved AI by the end of the year (if we're lucky). Dinos... Probably next year. Right now they have a full plate with: - PVP Modes - Bars Rework - Struth Rework - Campto Tweeks (I believe they plan to give it tail stuff or a kick and etc.) - Iggy Tweeks (They removed its charge and said they plan to give it something else.) - Microraptor release - Climbing (comes with Microraptor) That alone is an extremely full docket.
