Better than the B9 electric berlingo which had terrible weight distribution, all the batteries were at the back, that is, all 22kWh of them so about 75 mile range. It did thankfully have a real handbrake, not a silly electric motor.

Good review. I'm collecting the XTR car version next week. Bit odd that they've put charge point near the side door, particularly if there's only 1 side door.

Thanks Bob! You are right I think… especially in the passenger version. A neighbour has one and seems to get on with it well though so am sure you will enjoy!

Great review Paul, really sounds like a practical and ideal small EV van solution ! Maybe Citroen were just worried about people bashing the charging door with the sliding door, so that's their reason for locking it.

I agree completely and it’s the right thing to do IF you are gonna stick a charge point in a daft spot! 😊 we need to answer the question “where is the best place for a LCV EV charge point to be fitted?”

@@electricvanman - maybe at the front like a Kia e-Niro etc.. it also means you can access the rear doors as they will be facing out rather than possibly blocked by the charging station.

The Dispatch has the charge port on the front wing, which is probably better but the ENV200 has it on the front which is probably the best as there is no giant charge door sticking out the side asking to be snapped off.

Something the ENV got right was the chunky gear selector with PROPER MECHANICAL PARK. No computer jamming it in park for you at will. on the PSA If you open the door while reversing , it will throw it in park. Things that try to be too clever grind my gears.

So the official range is around 171, I was comfortably getting on target for around 150 with no load and careful driving 👍

If you live in most parts of the world where they drive on the right, the rear sliding door is on the opposite side to the charging port, so the main issue discussed in the video doesn't exist (and this is why Stellantis didn't have much need to do it differently).

If you open the side door while charging it will strike the charging cable. It's a safety feature I'm surprised you're questioning why ????

It automatically locks before it can hit the cable.

I questioned not so much the safety feature - Very wise! But rather the fact that the chargepoint was where it is and therefore making the door unable to open and needing the safety feature in the first place....
