I never understood why they dropped Elaine Joyce for Jeff MacGreggor. Jeff was OK, but Elaine fit this show much better than Jeff did.

Those ending credits are in the same font as that of "Punky Brewster."

@Wheeloffortunefan999 The theme to The All New Dating Game was composed by the same guys who also did the theme to The New Newlywed Game w/Bob Eubanks from 1985-1988 and the set was designed by Legendary Art Director the late Ed Flesh

If you're in the Los Angeles area, single and attractive and you're interested in trying out for "The All-New Dating Game", you're 23 years/2 months too late.

@jnadle1 and on its sister show "The New Newlywed Game," too. As well as the Monty Hall version (1986-87) of "Split Second" also.

@jnadle1 Milton DeLugg was the original bandleader of "Tonight" with Steve Allen back in 1956 and has had a long association with NBC as the music coordinator and arranger for the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Parade telecasts. Few people remember that he also headed the big band on the 1961 nighttime edition of "Concentration." That version chucked the organ and it's 30 Rock digs for the original Ziegfeld Theater, monster prizes, and Milton Delugg's orchestra. It still exists on kinneys.

@tnawcwvictoria Those same musicians may have also done "The Gong Show." Definitely Milton DeLugg composing this theme. Chuck Barris must have had a good association with him.
