The emergence of the Alpha personality in women and it’s pervasive influence in the symbiotic growth of the union of woman and man. Through being a member on many dating sites since June of 2012, I have collected very “real life” hard evidence of what manifests the alpha woman, it’s repercussions in the velocity of love, and it’s deficits in the ability to yield and compromise in today’s relationships. Alpha personalities usually spawn from environments in which a controlling nature is required, from a societally coerced struggling single mother, a child-turned-adult who was the victim of an over-exacting militant parent, or perhaps a divorced wife who erects emotional walls from very subdued pain that has tainted her true feminine nature. Regardless the alpha personality is one of the most “quietest” snakes that is crawling through the grass of relationship intimacy today. Alpha women usually have a default setting of a “needing to compete”. They see this competition attribute as sexy, alluring, challenging, and subconsciously stimulating. What they do not realize however is that these nuances ( or this way of behaving) usually backfire when it comes to dealing with those “moments of truth” times in daily life……..ie Someone turned the wrong way on the highway, “where are my car keys?”, ” Why are we not doing things this way or that way?”. Alphas tend to be very hypervigilant, temperamental, and reactionary, but in occupational environments operate at a high level of functionality. At work the Alpha is great, but when they get home they seem to have an inability to turn off the “Manager” switch, and seemingly have an inability to YIELD to another’s opinion or perception in any given situation. They seem to want to validate a “gate-keeper” mentality towards what constitutes the bottom line, and have an inexhaustible supply of stubbornness and arrogance on what is the best idea to handle the problem based upon their worldly experience, altruism, and intellectual tier. The more I seen how replete this nuance was throughout the dating sites, the more I realized there was definitely a pattern to be seen, which is : Women are in a role of toxic competition with men, and they do not even realize how damaging it is to the very construct, ambience, and velocity of love. The alpha personality trespasses on the gentle loving tapestry that a relationship demands. Continuity of love ( in my opinion ) is achieved through a “yoked submission” from each partner. This submission is tarnished/negated by the controlling, negating and competitive spirit of the alpha persona. Not only is this toxicity mentioned biblically, metaphysically, and spiritually, it’s outright denied up and down by the mainstream women who wear this mask in society. I found it quite revealing that most of the alpha women had photos of WEAPONS in their profiles on the dating sites. This was somewhat of a maxim or “flag” the alpha women would fly to permeate and validate a certain level of existence in their lives. This imagery is validated as “cathartic symbology”of their evolving experiences and seem to galvanize a type of triumph in their lives. I feel that the witnessing this patently sad behavioral characteristic, needed some awareness brought forth into society. I wrote this inform anyone who is experiencing this type of chemistry in a relationship, and to be aware of it’s aberrancies, as ( In my opinion ) the alpha persona serves no USEFULLNESS in the divine spirit of a marriage or relationship, and should be treated as such. It is, in it’s very nature: Self preserving, aggrandizing and damaging. Competitiveness is ok if your in love, wrestling in the leaves or playing twister, but not of much intrinsic value if you are reducing your significant other of their primal right to have an opinion, on anything that surfaces in life.
