What confuses me is why they would ‘t just show the video footage of the creature rather than a still image. If it’s a motion sensing camera than obviously the creature was moving.

I don’t understand when people say it can’t be an alien because it doesn’t look like an alien. I’m pretty sure we don’t know what aliens look like. I still don’t think it’s an alien but you can’t really rule it out.

In my opinion it looks almost to close to the image you showed of a skinwalker (which is one the first ones google shows) for it to actually be one so I'd say that this was probably just someone who image searched skinwalker on Google and made a costume that looks similar

Long haired freaky person from Amarillo Texas here, and I concur. To me it looks like a bit of cosplaying from the ELDER SCROLLS games, specifically a Khajit, the feline humanoids in the games. The clothing is what gives me reason to believe this. I could probably show you where the photo was taken, it's on the northwest side of the zoo somewhere. The native traditions here are pretty much from the Comanche and Southern Cheyenne, but they had trade with Apache and Navajo. The superstitious folks around here have jumped onto the skinwalker bandwagon, so there's a faintly Scooby-Doo atmosphere in town when the subject comes up in conversation. Frankly, there are more than enough nutjobs and tweakers here to make a genuine chupacabra or skinwalker look kind of normal in comparison. If you ever come to Amarillo, be warned, it's full of shady people doing bizarre stuff.

Every time I hear skinwalker, I think about the time my brother, his wife, and I went for a late night walk at what used to be my grandpa's, which is very dark with little light pollution, and we kept hearing things. My brother and I had just seen a shooting star and I was joking that I had wished to meet Bigfoot, which freaked my SIL out. We were chilling in the driveway, looking out towards the stars when one of them noticed two white shapes, one supposedly just appearing while looking at the other one. We couldn't tell what it was, but SIL thought it was a pair of skinwalkers as we weren't far from native land. My brother noticed the closer one starting to lunge so we panicked and ran inside. We were looking out for what we saw potentially coming up to the doors, but I was more interested in looking up skinwalker information. It seemed like we were in a good area for them, especially considering a graveyard was a few houses down from us. I was reading it out loud which scared SIL even more. I don't know if my brother believed it, but I was not believing it although I am usually the one to jump to paranormal conclusions. She had trouble falling asleep that night and when we went outside the next morning, we saw it was just a couple of barrels the neighbor had that had some white paint on the top part, which I had remembered seeing previously during the day during the whole "skinwalker" scare, which is why I wasn't freaking out, but I enjoy freaking others out so I went along with it. Never told them I knew it was just barrels lmao. Although, I'm not sure how my brother saw one lunging, but the dark was probably just messing with him.

If that’s the case there should’ve been more pics of said creature(or whatever delusional person would do that) since it was almost midway and had distance it could go before it was out of frame from all sides except for the side with the fence so it’s odd that it’s only one that’s been released.

Really looks like a person in a costume to me, like I feel like hoax images/ staged images just have a feel to them and this looks like one of them to me. If that fence is 8 feet tall that would really line up with the height of a person as well, if it's a six foot fence that person would have to be small or farther away that what the picture makes it look like. If that's the only image of it, I'd like to throw out the Occam's razor here because I haven't seen anybody else do it. This sorta looks like a drunk dude to me. Even if it's not a guy they got to dress up and skirt around the edge of the camera, this very much could be edited. All other things aside, this isn't crazy enough to bypass all realistic options, especially considering that we don't know the specifics of the camera in question, so we don't even know how many images the camera should have taken per instance of motion detected.
