What's amazing about this is I've always heard a piano-heavy song when I've listened to it, and didn't really pick out the guitar parts. Listening again after Tim's video really brings the guitars and the song to life!

I agree Michael Palmisano, 100%! Maybe for others, their ears and soul will open 1 day. I grew up with all shredded, and that’s how I played, UNTIL 1 day, playing VERY LOUD, the Beatles Revolver, and Eleanor Rigby came on, and that cello hit me so hard, it felt like I was listening to Tornado Of Souls! And I was opened up from then on! Siigghhh, everyone has their own journey to go through.

Rather than a technique lesson. A lesson on what matters and what makes this channel great. Note selection and part selection. Composing on the fly. Parts that sound easy and obvious but only after someone plays them to you. Excellent 👍🤘😀

Hey Slick, couldn't agree more. Great to see a seasoned pro with all the total joy of a 5 year old on Christmas day when he plays. Sure you have to put in the grind to get better every day but the reward should be a massive smile on your face when you finally let rip and play that chord progression, riff or solo 🤩

Love it how Tim talks about different tricks like "Double stops. That works! Octaves too!". The way I hear his playing is that the real magic is in his absolutely fantastic phrasing which makes every idea sound like the most natural thing.

Just want to tell you that you've opened up and changed my playing so very much for the better. Loved your course and your videos. It really is life changing in some ways. As a guy who dedicated his youth to breaking into the music business, i'm now just floating in the joy of music and guitar playing and loving it for what it is and that gives all that work and effort a great value I wouldn't have to carry forward and enjoy now if you weren't continually helping me bring my playing to new levels. Tim points out very subtle parts in the original recording. They're not really that loud and are a bit hard to hear in detail, but when Tim explains, you can stitch it all together to see just how well produced and arranged the track is. Thanks for great lesson, Tim.

Funny, I’ve been checking out Tim’s work my entire guitar playing life without even knowing it was Tim. He is absolutely influential, melodic, fun and rips your head off all at the same time with his playing. Watching him do these videos and seeing how much he loves what he does, is literally the greatest moments I have on the internet. Great sound and playing. As a older guitarist with athritis who used to be a metal head, I find it enjoying to be still able to play tunes like this. It gave me more respect for different styles once I couldn't shred as good anymore. Love your spirit, you seem very humble and I can see you love playing. I need to find that passion again like you have, although it is hard sometimes when the fingers just don't wanna move some days. Cheers

Tim! This is your best video yet. I always loved this song with Sara’s vocal, lyrics, and especially the guitar parts. Love that you picked those out like I did years ago. I remember telling my girlfriend now wife at Sara’s concert how I wish I wrote those guitar parts. So fun to see you enjoy and share with others those great parts. Love the channel and always well done!
