The music is filled with anger, horror, and pity. This is actually the most comics-accurate Goblin. Goblin is a monstrous, vengeful person who wants to attack Spider-Man and his loved ones. Even Harry Osborn's version of Goblin in the comics is known to do some pretty messed up stuff. But his father, Norman, is more tactical, colder, and typically more dangerous. That said, the version of Goblin that Willem Dafoe will be playing in No Way Home may be about as scary as this one.

I can agree now. Goblin in 2002 felt very dramatic even though I liked it. 2007 wasn't even a goblin. 2014 and 2021 were what a Goblin is supposed to be. Unfortunately, this series was cancelled. If Harry's goblin was so evil, I am wondering how much evil would tasm's Norman would have been and he would have been strong just like the ultimate version

Oh no I pray he’s okay. I think the actor had a ballgame with this, but I still feel rather pained he had to go through so much suffering just to later become a monster.

This is way more exclusive with the transformation of the Goblin take nothing away from 2002 just better with the pain and obviously it smokes the venom distransormation in 2007.

Harry was totally beyond saving at this point which makes the character all the more sad and pathetic. I really wished that this movie gave Goblin more screen time and development, or at the very least this scene could have happened as one giant cliff hanger.
