''Mercedes-AMG brings Formula 1 technology to the road
Frankfurt/Affalterbach. The Mercedes-AMG Project ONE will celebrate its world première at the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt/Main: for the first time, the two-seater supersports show car brings the very latest and efficient, fully-fledged Formula 1 hybrid technology from the race track to the road almost par for par to represent the highlight of AMG's 50th anniversary. This high-performance hybrid is said to produce over 1.000 hp and reach top speeds beyond 350 km/h. The show car combines outstanding race track performance and day-to-day suitable Formula 1 hybrid technology with exemplary efficiency. This is a world first. The overall responsibility for the realisation of Project ONE lies with Mercedes-AMG. The complex development work was carried out in close cooperation with the Formula 1 experts at Mercedes-AMG High Performance Powertrains in Brixworth and with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport team in Brackley. Together with the four-door AMG GT Concept, the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE provides another insight into the future performance-hybrid drive strategy of the sports car brand within Mercedes-Benz.

It’s equipped with an 1.6-litre V6 engine with direct injection, four valves per cylinder which produces over 1,000Nm of torque all-wheel drive.

Mercedes Benz AMG One 0-100 km/h (62mph) can be reached in 2.5 seconds!
The top speed VMAX is electronically limited to 350 km/h (196mph)

The most ridiculous stat (based off information by Mercedes) is the 0-200 km/h time of less than 6 seconds. For comparison, the fastest accelerating car itw Rimac Nevera does it in 6.1s. What a weapon!

The Regera also could do it in 6 sec despite being RWD. The acceleration to 230 kmph is a straight line. But the AWD of the Project One should make 0-200 kmph mental.

If you need pure driving pleasure go for the GTR I would prefer a pre-facelift GTR over the Pro. If you need a good daily driver, long distance traveler and an iconic looking car: S63 Cab/ Coupé 🚀

Mercedes Benz in general compares to the likes of Rolls Royce and Bentley in terms of luxury. Then it compares to the likes of Porsche, McLaren for sports and hypercars! Yep Merc are my absolute favorite! The slightly older Mercs are the best! All the black series are so special! Nothing comes close to Merc! The new black kills everything and it's front engined! And yes interiors are the best! But it's the bullet proof engines that are the best! You will see a lambo or ferarri or McLaren on a tow truck but you won't see a Merc! The new black series is what id take over every other current supercar! Just change exhorst!! Just miss that 6.2 monster but the twin turbos are Orsum !!

Back in 2017 the price was at 2.75M € for 275 models in total. Weight is 1200kg in total but need to wait for the final production vehicle to give you more details about that 🙌🏼

How was the CLK-GTR not a hypercard? If they could make a production version of a GT1 racer 25 years ago, I think they got this. Despite a huge number of challenges.
