TBF Anna gold farming is a non issue as Well a lot of times sustains itself, and you really don't need extra gold if you know what you are doing, Hortensia being more “busted” doesn't make sense to me. That min maxing your staffs part can apply to your entire staff user's Hortensia is just the best Staff user in the game. Dodge tanks are just dodge tanks, they don't work on maddening unless you are solo Alear in your maddening run, and on easier difficulties chances are you are not as try hard to care and if you are that try hard… why are you not playing maddening already but well DOES indeed make the whole game easier, by giving you more build options so it's more varied gameplay in exchange for raw stat difficulty, and it's not DLC so no complaints there

@@kambyznn149 Why wouldn't you be able to use dodge tanks in maddening? Turn everyone into thieves and have them all get +dodge skills. Use Corrin with Alear and use fog every turn. Doesn't fog apply the dodge bonus on top of ta 30+ dodge bonus from other cover? So if all of your units are covert they'll all get +60 avoid every turn from Alear and if they are in cover they get an additional +60 avoid. So the dodgier units like Chloe and Lapis can be non-coverts with canter+. Make sure to keep backup enemies alive cause if you don't have at least one alive enemies won't attack during their phase. Except for the mysticals. (So dodge tanks should have high RES like Pandreo).

I’ve literally been doing this. I think start sphere removes the need to put some characters in specific classes just for the growths. I’ve been having fun using paladins as they have a well rounded stat growth along with star sphere. I would normally pick wyvern knight on most physical units for the Str but with tiki I can put some on paladin so I don’t cry on maps with 50 billion archers lol

I haven't really tested it. But I believe relay trials reset the somniel as well. If joining 1 other player resets it, then it's easy. But I only did sessions where I played a few rounds, hosted some as well. Like 1 hour of relay and then the somniel was always reset

My opinion is it is unplanned or it is planned in expansion pass. I feel like resources are limited and unbalanced without DLC and DLC make it really broken and in a certain chapters and characters unbalanced me curious that they plan everyone to buy DLC. If well features included only in expansion, Fans will riot for sure, but at least, It is good addition since SP is really hard to farm regardless of DLC.

@paulman34340 Noted. Riots usually comes from loud minorities, ofc. However, I think it can be a topic since SP gain in this game is really unfair, and force some characters to bench if a well feature does not come.

I think it came down to "releasing as is to see how things would go and then basically releaesed around "what to fix" from feedback! They came packing backup plans and contingency especially with the Wave 2 "Items" which I PREDICTED the moment I knew about the SP Books from Tempest that they were going to be giving you books to make up for how early characters selection of skills is abit busted if you don't know what you're doing or don't have a full grasp of all the skills and which rings give access to them (and you don't see Chapter 10/11 coming like MANY of us did, I'm sure that was fun for those who went in playing Maddening on their first run LOL! That's why I never play first run on the HIGHEST DIFFICULTY. Normal/Hard is a safer bet! Save that for AFTER you learn how things work) Frankly I will say my only gripe with Support Bonuses is they don't give a WEAKER variant of them if your one space away from your Support Buddy anymore (why make them "right next to them" what was the idea with that I wonder?). But yeah I WILL say those high SP costs WERE stupid (seriously the highest should have been at BEST 500, not 1000, to 3000! That's not in issue MUCH if you were playing a NON-turn based RPG like Bravely Default, or even THREE HOUSES. but with this one structured like the old FE, especially with how Skrimishes work, me think they realized too late this would bring a NEGATIVE reaction. Even from some like myself not too bothered by it! I noted they only applied to Core Skills unique to the Rings/Bracelet in question and they just didn't want you to get them too easily! Don't Canter with the presence of Canter+ for example shouldn't have been so expensive) I feel it was wrapped around HEAVILY if you go into the Tempest Trials and start winning SP Books! But has anyone done that BEFORE beating the game story? They were working around Endgame content they never factored in the fact that they were never going to put in a NG+ Honestly should have put in completation bonuses that come into effect in future runs (similar to the Renown in Awakening and Fates)

The highest should have been at 1000 SP and that was that! Not this 2000, 50000 crap! That's something that would work in THREE HOUSES or RPG like Bravely Default! But Engage, well I'll say this, I learned if you go in thinking your playing RESIDENT EVIL 4/DEAD SPACE you'll be good (where even money for the shop was finite because enemies dropping money isn't very reliable to try and grind. So what you find and get is what you need to SMARTLY utilize less you hurt yourself when your poor as fuck from bad decisions....like a dead run I had in the past where I donated to Level 4 with the first kingdom EARLY and found myself starving for money and not much use for what you get from the donations compared to the Second Kingdom Brodia! Engage REALLY had alot of First Time Traps! I had a laugh with them, but I'm sure others did not find them so funny! I was surprise Chapter 10/11 got such hate. Some people act like it's infamous, but again "loud minority" as usual acting like they represent the rest of us)

Achievements give you an asston of bond though. Like i went through ch10 not realizing achievements were a thing and i checked the bulletin randomly and got like 120k+ bond out of nowhere. I was like HUH? Then i donated aton to the countries and got even more.

Are you collecting achievements from the donation board? The game gives you so much bond fragments it's hard to use them all.

Achievements. Just go to the achievement board every now and then and you'll come away with 20, 30 thousand bond points easy.

Frankly Forging if you knew what you were doing, broke the game already! Found myself thanks to that Silver Weapon Update packing shit I shouldn't be seeing in the early game (And with the right donations at say Brodia, I found myself with a Brave Weapon and Wo Dao the moment you can start donating there! And STILL had money to splurge! Once you know how to play the Skrimish rolling game and assure you go for Gold Skrimishes! Your good! I never even overleveled because of this and this is NOT taking Anna and her skill into mind! Also selling useless shit as I pick 12 character's I'm taking all the way and plan around them! Uselesss stuff) The well made this even easier as I can get more from using it over just selling useless stuff! And yeah my playstyle is also similar (ever since GBA Blazing Sword, I'm STINGY with shit! Especially staves and vulnerary/Elixers! Only I don't use the stuff I can't buy unless it's a story or paralogue chapter where it WILL matter! Skirmishes will see my staff users using HEAL Staves! As I stop doing Skrimishes after Chapter 10/11 as by then they've reached the point enemies are ALL in their Advanced Varients! And what I hate is how they stack their stats so heavily into that typing! Meaning if it's a Griffin or Wolf Knight, those fuckers are DOUBLING and Dodging even a Blessed SPD Lapis/Kagetsu wielding LOW BLD weapons! Skrimishes are too dangerous to rely on mid to late game! So use em as you need early game and your good! Heaven help you if the Advanced Varients are PASSED or at Level 5 where they get their Class Skills! More refering to THOSE GOD DAMN WOLF KNIGHTS! As if the Daggers weren't bad enough! Hobble is a skill meant for the Enemy then you) I find what IS broken, and do my best to avoid utilizing it till I reach the point where it's okay to use it (like say the point where I can have fun being Broken, because in a bit, it's going to be balanced out) I think it was always meant to be used properly in the Mid-game! IS just forgot players DON'T get amnesia when they play a future run! Or we don't pass information along on how to BREAK the game with these's mechanics that newbies are utilizing it! Honestly people are whinning about stuff they'll never use so it's funny to me just to watch (Seriously I was called a CHEATER because I had the Expansion Pass on Day 1, and used an Energy Drop on my Lapis who wasn't getting much STR growth. Funny after that she started getting them every odd level up! They act like they gave me 50x Energy Drops or something! But then they quiet the fuck up the moment the Well appeared as a Free Update)) Seriously even 3Houses updates BROKE it's game as well. Any game can be broken if you know where to find the seams! Same. After I get military funds I usually spend 90-95% of that on iron swords and 3 star, do the trick where you battle online and lose fast. Get to farm ingots from farm, lvl a little in the arena, and get the well. 3 in one

Iirc someone calc'd the different levels, and 2 star is the most profit gold, 3 star is the best gold/sp ratio, and 4 has a decent chance of breaking even in gold, but getting better gear early. 5 star is basically always a pretty big loss by value, but the high quality gear can be worth it. And 1 star is meh, but redundant with how easy 2 star is

Dude for example you can get the 8000 sp skill plus 5 strength and dex on timera can’t do that without the well.

4 stars you lose 2k on average for twice as much SP as 3 stars. So it's more a late game SP clean up buuuuuut If you keep up with the well and save jean/Anna for after the well that's more SP. Everybody can have Canter now!

It doesn't break the game. It's more of a QoL convenience that introduces a Randomization feature that is mostly there to turn Stockpiled weapons into potentially better weapons or more useful items. You can already break the game using relay tickets and skirmishes if you want, but this makes the game more fun for those that do not use skirmishes/ Purist players.

Kagestu is good cause his bases right off Chapter 11, but he can end up like a Swordmaster Lapis who doesn't get Strength if he also gets RNG screwed in that department (and Luck) But I guess AGAIN as I said "These's are MADDENING MODE PLAYERS Viewpoint" as I said in my comment if you fully read it! Mid game recruits have the advantage of having better bases and are promoted into classes that have BETTER Growth Rate Add ons. So of course we know how it goes! Oh and the one time I did and completed Maddening following some tips like Promoting some Early! my Alfred ROCKED Kagetsu the two times you fight Ivy and Company! And Kagetsu only beat him in SPD really when he did join! But then I REALLY got RNG Blessed (I rarely if ever in a FE and I've played all of them so far minus Binding Blade which I'm getting around to at some point. Got RNG Screwed! Only time I can remember was with Dimitri in 3H having more MAG then STR! That was a STRANGE playthrough! Luckly his Hero Relic and later STR Gains that started coming fixed him) and how you invest (Fixed his BLD and Weight of weapons! It won't do much against) The numbers go in those like Kagetsu's favor as I said because you have to invest LESS in them come Maddening! Really wish some people would STOP thinking Maddening/Lunatic/GBA Hard mode is the only "REAL" way to play FE!)

@@paulman34340 there is no RNG screwed in maddening fixed growths mode. All things being equal swordmaster kogetsu will always be better than swordmaster Alfred. Because Alfred is a flat out bad character that has bad growths.

I was only playing on Hard, but my Framme ended up with an insane amount of Strength. Was definitely one of my strongest fighters.

I’ve made Framme a Mage Knight with the Chrom bracelet on my second playthrough and she’s one of my best units.
