Closing time is a very low tolerance. However, being consistent and closing is very important. We usually have someone at the end of the line to cut it off, and have to turn patients away. Often times they get upset, but again; the pharmacy techs and pharmacist want to go home otherwise they'd be there all night. There's a boundary that has to be respected for the team in order to maintain and retain pharmacy technicians, as the turn over rate is currently very high. So, closing is very important to me and making sure we follow our open-to-close hours and keeping the team happy; along with constantly reminding patients when they have to return what our closing hours are at the pharmacy. Very good video though in terms of what you were teaching.

That's an awesome comment! Have you seen any changes over the past few years with customers respecting that boundary? (Is it getting worse or better or about the same?)

@@pharmacistplace I would say it’s getting worse. But, I believe the pandemic caused many ppl to be more impatient, and be more aggressive towards others from being socially distancing and self quarantine. However, be consistent with the boundary spreads more awareness of our open & closing times.
