Has anybody bothered to actually read or hear what JK Rowling's actually said. Because I remember her original comment and all the nonsense ever since then not withstanding the original comment didn't seem that controversial to me. Not trying to stir the pot. I just wonder have any of y'all that are saying she's so bad encountered the original statement that started everything? I can really see how a woman who has been repeatedly almost killed by strangulation and had her leg pulled out of socket during being beaten for 2 hours and 31 minutes might not be ABLE to heal OR Open Up AT ALL at a domestic abuse shelter if there's someone that has a penis there too.... Not because that woman has any problem with transgender people but because abuse touches the deepest part if someone's soul.... Transgender people deserve rights. But that doesn't mean other people don't deserve our consideration and thoughts too.... That being said yes this whole nonsense is the worst thing that happened to Harry Potter and I hope it doesn't overshadow how good it makes a lot of people feel.
