“if it’s not your ankles, it could be your back”. ok but my KNEES. it’s so badly my knees :(
@WilliamsWrestlin
@WilliamsWrestlin Жыл бұрын
your knees are not the problem usually. knee pain is associated with something around the knee: ankle, foot, toe, hips, etc. The body is a system so if a part of the system is weak or incapable of performing it's task, other parts will have to compensate for it , hence pain

I have weird kneecaps, and my PT gave me specific stretches where I press on one and pick it up and push it. It hurts seriously bad the first time or so but gets better because it releases a ton of inflammation. You can see if there's not a specialist on here that teaches how to do that, and also gives any possible precautions to take. Good luck and feel better!

Your stretches are way better than the ones I have been doing. After I did your stretches first I also did my regular stretches and the area was already completely stretched out. Your stretches are way more powerful.

funky correlation, in hunter/jumper circles of horseback riding, both of these stretches apply for a more stable leg position and over-all balance. One of the main points is having the heels down for balance (not forwards, down), this means, as mentioned in the short, having flexible ankles. Interesting.

I’ve think that you can also do this stretch while laying down by putting you feet against the top bunk of a bunk bed. At least, I can feel the stretch in that muscle when I do it, which may or may not be normal

Can you do some higher level mobility and flexibility tips, stuff?:)) Your videos as re awesome! And even in my level of mobility and flexibility, some of the skills and stretches you teach have really been awesome to add! And have actually impoved some things, in a really impressive manner haha. That's awesome! I wonder if you can make a video with stretches to improve mobility and flexibility, for people who are already flexible and mobile enough to do things like; deep squats, palms on the floor, chest to knees with legs straight on the ground, knees to the ground in butterfly sitting.. such like that:) Like, good stretches that you need to be mobile and flexible first, To be able to do:)) Again! So glad you do these videos. I'm learning a lot about the way different stretches connect and your explanations about anatomy and the connections of strength, mobility, and flexibility, are very very well explained! Thanks:))

It seems that I've been "training my calves" subconsciously. I always do those exact things at that point in the video when I'm at double sidewalk, stairs or at work next to a pallet, especially when I get absent minded while on a call or something. My toes are on the edge and I keep "falling down" then bringing myself back up to stand on my toes, then level back, down again, back up, level, repeat a few more times and then balance on my toes as if my heel was on a spring. My body's "sleep smarts" are smarter than its waking smarts :P

I tried these out before and after my Squat session and it's not my Calf muscles being the problem. The front/inside of my ankle feels like it physically can't bend any more acutely, and it feels like it's anomtically impossible.

Curiosity and laziness here... can you do them lying down? 😅 I usually stretch close to my bed and since I prefer sleeping on the floor I usually HATE it when I forget to do a certain stretch and am doing the twist thingy when I remember 🤭😅 Twist thingy: left/right ankle over opposite knee (on back) and twisting to direction of ankle, that's left if using the left ankle and vice versa. And turning looking over opposite shoulder to deepen stretch. At that point... I won't get up 🙋🏾‍♀️ it's rotations, dead man's pose, and lighta out for me 🤭
