@Brad Conklin, it’s impossible to understand the written word of God unless you have been born again of the Holy Spirit, and Jesus makes that clear. That’s why unbelievers who read the scriptures don’t understand what they read, because they don’t have the indwelling Holy Spirit to teach them God’s truth. Who are you to tell the other person that they’re not born again of the Holy Spirit? Are you God? Do you have the power of Jesus Christ to see into the heart of another person? That’s exactly what you’re making the claim to be. Your prideful judgement and claim to know the heart of another person is not a fruit of the Holy Spirit. I believe you should examine yourself, and let Jesus Christ examine the heart of His servants. God hates pride.
