Moreover there also seems to be evidence that Mao actually colluded with the Japanese fascists to destabilise the ROC.

@@certifiedbruh2180 i know plenty about communism, its about creating a system of workers ownership of the means of production. And using a revolution followed by a strong temporary state to achieve that society. Only a couple problems with that: -state never willing lowers its power (even if leader is good willed, this is just basic laws of power) -no way to determine the exact quantity of any manufactured goods needed you can only approximate with central planners. (This is what causes the starving part) - requires authoritarian state as many people are against that system and could make their own version of capitalism all over again.

This song is written by the President of China himself who fled to Taiwan after defeated by Communist. If you know his history then you will understand why he wrote such a brutal song. He spent his entire life in uniting China, but at the end he betrayed by his own men while getting defeated by the supposed weak rabble communist army until he fled to Taiwan, governing an Island instead of the great mainland he once had. It's a song full of revenge.

My great grandfather was a veteran of both ww2 and chinese civil war. He also fought in 823 war but lost his legs in it. My family was from Nanjing, China. If the Nationalists won the war, I would have been in Nanjing instead of Taipei.
