Ja, it wasn't a race thing. It was entirely down to how they reacted to the work. Raj and Saira didn't even ask about their work at all! They didn't ask to see it. They just asked them all about their customer base and their sales and all that guff. Neither of them understand artists AT ALL. We care about our work first. All that sales stuff is nice for us, but not what it important.

It is because Saira and Raj stonked into their studio and asked about sales, about how much they sold at exhibitions, if they sold out or not, all that kind of guff. They had no idea how to talk to artists. They didn't even ask about the work at all! Didn't ask to see it or for the artists to explain it. All they talked about was sales sales sales. They're artists, Saira, you twit. It is about the work.

Cause this is the early 2000s, when a lot of guys like him got away with all kinds of horrible stuff. Paul was also talking about how he hated women wearing makeup in another episode. He's such a caricature of a sexist douche that it is kind of sad.

I disagree. Although Saira was unsuccessful in her business approach with the artist, she demonstrated that she had better sales skills than Paul in THIS particular task. After all, the purpose of the task was to sell the art pieces. Had this task been based on the business approach, then yes, Saira should have been penalized for that. As Sir Alan Sugar stated, "a good salesperson never lets a sale get away," and Paul never closed the deal. He passed them on to someone else to finish the job.
