Dev has a different definition of bad faith than most people, I think. I would say his (freely admitted) anti-Trump bias makes it difficult for him to engage in current US political analysis in good faith. Hence the debate video where he is hyper-critical of Trump's statements with no charity given (calling exaggerations and hyperbole "lies") but only goes over one instance where Biden was "incorrect".

I don't think Dev is a liar, I think he's narrow minded and biased, and incapable of facing that bias. You can be dishonest without being an unscrupulous deceiver, such as when Dev is insecure and won't back down from his tenuous positions. Meaning that if someone says he's arguing in bad faith, they don't necessarily mean he's just being a manipulative liar, but rather that he'll avoid something in the face of evidence or proof, no matter how much he claims he's fine with discourse.
