This has been my primary headset for gaming on my ps5 for about a month now. No complains to comfort, built, audio and mic quality. The hypersense haptic feedback adds immersion to story games. I wouldn’t recommend you turn on the hypersense for fps games though as the haptic feedback adds unwanted bass which could drown the sound of footsteps… *edit - he did talk about it… good review!

I have these for the halo version for the series x...i really like them. Im thinking of getting the ps5 version. The best feature for me is being able go listen to things on my phone while playing the game which im doing as we speak. They are a little to expensive for the Playstation though. I got them on sell for $99 on xbox but they're $170 for Playstation

Can you use the 3D system of the PS5 with this Headset ?? (Like the 7P+ does)

So I just got those today despite the mixed reviews. Paid $149.99 on sale. I think that's the appropriate price for them. I also gotta say I'm not disappointed at all. I actually like the sound of them on amplified with low feedback very much. They sound rich and not too overly bass heavy actually even tho many referred to them as very bass heavy. Try listening to the Anker Soundcore Q35 headphones then u know what bass heavy is lol. I guess people are mixing the haptic feedback with bass response. That's not the case. Yes it reacts to the base but the bass from the headphone itself is rather very balanced medium level imo. Also the comfort is good even tho they are a little on the looser side when it comes to clamping force. Would prefer just a tad more or some form of adjustment possibility. Last but not least I only have 1 real issue with them...and thats the simultaneous connection with 2.4ghz wireless and Bluetooth. So first I used the app to pair and connect via Bluetooth to be able to turn off the RGB and play around a little with the EQ. But then the headphones didn't want to connect to the wireless adapter. So I turned Bluetooth off and they then connected to the adapter but as soon I turned Bluetooth back on they go back to Bluetooth and disconnect from the wireless. Idk why? Then I decided to uninstall the app turn the headphones off and start over. Connected via wireless and turned Bluetooth on my phone on. All of a sudden they connected to both but without the app. And now they won't connect to the app for some odd reason. Since it's already late at night I'm gonna start over 1 more time tomorrow. Clear everything and delete the app etc. I'm wondering...I couldn't find it in the instructions...is there a way to reset the headset so it's would be back to full factory like when it comes out of the box? That's pretty much the issue I'm having. Besides that they seem to be an actual pretty good sounding headset with a very stable wireless connection without cutouts compared to some other ones I've tried like for example the Corsair Virtuoso XT or the Sennheiser GSP670 which are both very bad on their wireless connections. Constant signal drops. So much that it gets very annoying.

Dude you are literally the only place online I can find that actually goes into depth about everything regarding PS5's 3D Audio. And that includes forums and Reddit subs.. I have been on a quest to find something to replace my Astro A50's because I hate using that stupid HDMI splitter. But it seems everywhere I turn there is a downside that I don't want to sacrifice. The only reason I'm making the sacrifice with the HDMI splitter is because there isn't enough content that puts out a full 4k 120hz.....yet. But it still bothers me. I'm going to continue to binge your channel. In the meantime if there's anything you can recommend I would greatly appreciate it. Obviously looking to get best 3D sound as possible. If you have anyone else asking for the original throne holder of ps5 headset which is the 7P+ I have gotten a really good pair of eq adjustments they can use literally posted on my KZfaq channel on the shorts part of the channel. I’m not doing this for money I am just simply trying to help people that was in the same shoes as me. I actually just bought the audeze penrose headset for ps5 last week and MY GOD pix, you gotta do a review on these. They are going to blow your mind dude please just buy a pair and try them out and review. It’s a truly incredible experience. Got a eq setting for those to actually😂 not on my page though just got it about a hour ago lol. (It honestly doesn’t even need one out of the box it’s unbelievable. But yea when you try those penrose these headsets you have tried so far and said they are great. Yea it’s gonna blow them outta the water sadly cause they 300 lol.

What the point of buying this headset if the 3D Audio has bad quality?

Oh my god this thing is only $50 cheaper than the audeze!?? No wayyyyyyy does it make sense to buy this razor instead of the audeze penrose lol. Literally get 100mm planar magnetic drivers with blue tooth and 2.4 wireless functionality and a studio grade removable mic. Oh yeah for only fifty more bucks lol. Razor will have to rethink this. Never been a razor fan and definitely not changing with this one.😂 not to mention the penrose are actually created just for the ps5 and the Penrose x is created for the Xbox and yes all the other stuff connects to its literally the same thing as steel series did with the 7P and 7X and 7+. Y’all check em out if you have the extra money I promise you it will completely change your perception of what sound is actually supposed to sound like. I can’t even touch my 7P+ anymore. The comfort man jesus christ man headband is not big and comfie enough earcups was ok but the headband was the reason i return the headset a bit of weight but nothing dramatic

Great review! I got it and returned it. I love the look and feel, except for the clamp force you mentioned. However, their decision to only use bluetooth OR PS5 connectivity killed the headset for me. I need bluetooth (for Discord or calls) WHILE I am playing. When you are using the PS5 and dongle you then lose the EQ options within the mobile app as you cannot run Bluetooth while using the PS5. Very poorly implemented IMO. Why is this $199 USD, but the Kaira Pro for Xbox is $99 and has the same features AND allows bluetooth while gaming? I assume haptics, but I turned them off in the first two minutes anyways.

i have sony headset i dont have that headset... use it when ever i play my ps5.. pretty good.. 7p if u drop the headset few times would it crack on the headband? i hve razer headset i drop it a few times.. the head band crack into half? cheap plastic made & feel..
