As a Cards fan, everything we've done since getting rid of poison, I mean Keim has been awesome. Monti has been an amazing breath of fresh air, killed two drafts in a row. Aside from adding a couple more pieces, I think the only other thing that needs to happen is Kyler's maturity. I've never been 100% on board with K1 NOT because of his size (although it will ALWAYS be a factor) but because he's been a drama queen since getting to AZ. Except, from what I could tell, this last season. He seemed to mature. Can't wait for the season to start to truly find out.

People dont understand how bad we were in 2018. Kyler came in with nearly an identical roster and completely made the offense compete with most teams including 2019 ravens and chiefs. Kliff was also in way over his head as a head coach. Gannon and Monti have this team poised to make real measured success.

As a fan of this team, I loved this video. You're right. Steve Kiem should've been fired after 2018, but I'm glad he didn't because I like what Monti has done so far. With Kiem there they were the oldest team for years. He also drafted and brought in draft picks and veterans that had a history of injuries.

As a Cardinals fan since the 1998 playoff run, I agree with you completely on Keim. He started hot out of the gate with the Carson Palmer and Mike Iupati deals, but it quickly went to his head. I can't tell you how many drafts I watched with him as GM, and he would just sit there, hoping the guy we wanted would fall to us, they don't, and then he's just like "Whatever, we'll takw this guy instead". Though David Johnson worked out (briefly. As an Iowan, I am so proud of DJ, but really bummed about what happened in the end). I was a huge Rosen guy (laugh all you want), and I hated Kyler for so long despite the wins. He finally won me over this past season running our new run heavy offense (which I love SO MUCH), and I proudly bought his jersey a couple weeks ago. Go Cardinals!!!!

They will start slow. I'm expecting 3-7 before the bye week. But this team will take off towards the end of the season with their culture + schedule + allowing these rookies to develop. I expect them to go 5-1 after the bye with a potential playoff birth game against the 49ers to end the season to finish 9-8.

As a Cardinals fan I haven’t been this excited for a season in a long time. For once we’re drafting well, Kyler has people who actually believe in him, and we saw how this team played last year with 0 talent and Kyler out most of the year. Just wait until this year!

Speaking as someone who's been a Cardinals fan since 1975 I wish I can believe you. I've had the rug pulled out from under me so many times when it comes to this team that I've lost count. I've seen hot starts turn into November/December tailspins. I've seen playoff teams get embarrassed in the playoffs. I've seen this team go from being first in the division to finishing 3rd and out of the playoffs. And I've seen promising seasons from players only to have those hopes dashed with injury. So say I'm jaded is an understatement. 1976, 1977, 1984, 1988, 2007, 2020, 2021 are some of the most painful seasons I've ever endured. And, yeah, they did tease me in 2008 and even dared have the lead late in the Super Bowl only to dick punch me again with a monumental collapse in the end. Like I said, I'd like to believe you but I've been kicked in the crotch far too often to have anything other than guarded optimism.

I dont expect for us to have an amazing year or even compete for the west title, but i do expect us to be a team the needs to be prepared for. Last year against the cowboys and eagles we proved that we're not a simple bye-week, but this year we will beat teams that don't bring their A-game. I wholeheartedly feel like we can be a real contender in a season or two, once the defense fills out and our rookies get some experience behind them. I'm finally excited to see the team we're becoming.

Arizona looked good with a backup qb last year. Entire team was scrappy and played hard. With more talent, I project more close games going the cards way. For the qb, if KM can be efficient and healthy, cards should be improved.

They are definitely a sleeper team. Predicting a 10-7 record and a playoff birth. A lot of people are going to be surprised next season. Their offense is easily going to be top 10.

I didn’t like the Darius Robinson pick that much. In the years 2000-2010 Robinson would have been a top 15 pick. I would have drafted Malik Nabers over Harrison. Nabers is FAR more explosive and should have won the Ballitnekoff last year not Harrison. I love the Max Melton pick he is good. I like Trey Benson. I think he was the best RB in the draft and Tip Reiman love him. He is fucking humongous and the best blocking TE in this class. Christian Jones the offensive tackle from Texas I like him too and think he will probably be a starter some day at tackle or guard but probably tackle. And I LOVE their 2nd round pick last year. BJ Ojulauri the Edge rusher out of LSU. And BJ did me proud by getting 40 tackles, 4 sacks, and 1 pass break up. Not bad for a slightly undersized 21 year old edge. He is 6’2’’ 250 and had 34.250 inch arms.

Our record does not show how good we were last year, if we had kyler last year we could have been a 500 team, and we’ve improved, so with that logic we should be above 500 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I think we could hit 10 wins, and with the schedule release now up, I think it’s very possible we could have a good 3-4 wins through the first 6 and then I think the rest of the schedule is pretty cake(except division games, they’re always a battle)

They were plucky as heck last season, giving a fight to teams that didn't think they would be anything other than a speed bump the first part of the season. they weren't just gonna roll over and wait for Kyler to get back and it showed. and yeah, they beat the Eagles, they beat the Steelers, Cowboys and Falcons - and while the Falcons were the worst of those four teams, they were doing well at the time Arizona beat them. they were on the verge of either leading their division, or letting the Buccs take it. (spoiler, they let the Buccs take it) also - all three of those other teams, Eagles, Cowboys and Steelers got to the first round of the playoffs and immediately got their asses beat. (yeah the cowboys score looks WAY closer than it actually was) - so I took solace in that. but now... to see my team potentially being a contender again... well that gives me something to look forward to this season.

The front office is top 3 worst in the league signing only 3 rookie free agents with everyone else in our division signing 15+ like the Rams and Seahawks.
