The best part is that if you look back this started a while ago with the Titanfall subreddit, the best part is that it spread. Making its way to first the Hollow Knight subreddit and eventually the Arkham one. I think the greatest part is the fact that with the Arkham subreddit, it never really left.

Welll.... First its Protocol 12 and its never ending profecy Then it is no instalment after like 8 years and only a live service game. And finaly,the main subreddit becoming a circle jerk subreddit. What is wierd to me is how this subreddit didn't fall on being a Batman Arkhan version of every gaming subreddit (with art,cosplays,game videos etc) and it fell into insanity.Well it is true other subreddits embraced insanity at some point but they took their meds eventualy.Batman Arkham never took their meds.

@@kreischenderdepp113 The reason is to celebrate the launch of Gotham Knights which releases on the 21st. The meme lore is that there are 3 groups in total. The Heros, the Villains, and the Gotham Knights subreddit. The Heros are trying to stop the "prophecy" which is what we call "doomsday." The Villains are trying to let it happen and are hailing the 21st as the "cleansing" of this subreddit which will wipe all the memes and shitposts off the map. The Gotham Knights subreddit is the "you must be fun at parties guy" who doesn't tolerate the stupid jokes we are making because they think one of the groups are going to flood the Gotham Knights subreddit with shitposts. (I think it is prophesied that it'll be the Heros who raid.) Those on the Heros side is Batman, Tim Drake, Nightwing, Oracle (who is Mia Kalhifa, the porn actress), Azrael, the Arkham Knight and his Militia. The Villains are Doctor Strange, Ras' Al Ghul, Scarecrow who was a hero but defected to the side of the Villains. There aren't many Villains because most are against the prophecy, but you can find many "prophecy sympathizers" across the comments of the posts on this here subreddit. Fair warning, don't go to the Gotham Knights subreddit with this because they are likely to remove your post and ban you from commenting. When I said they are the one's who don't tolerate the jokes, I really meant it.

My favorite was when the voice actress for Harley quin died the admin wanted to hold off on the shitposting for a few days for tribute posts and the like.
