I can hardly think of how to express my gratitude for the faithfulness of the folk singers and country singers who have persisted with this kind of music. In and out of popularity, getting crowds of people to sing together, finding ways to knit our souls together and make us strong in this crazy old world. Whew! Such warriors!

We go around the circle taking turns playing whatever songs we pick when it goes around the circle till it's my turn....I'll be 68 September 1st and my friends from kindergarten and even before kindergarten are still the best of friends and I have a 2 bedroom trailer outside my home town, so that I can still get together with friends and family to share the music.... I'm so blessed...I'd rather be there with them 5han on a vacation somewhere with strangers. They mean the world to me

You said what I feel very eloquently....it's such a feeling of comradeship and a feeling like being a part of a big family...love the live concerts too especially..my friends and I get together all the time and get in a big circle with our instruments banjos guitars mandolins ukelele, and we take turns picking songs and playing singing harmonies and a lifelong friendship ...I'm 68 in September and I went to kindergarten with most of them.... I keep a trailer there year round on a small lake and all my nieces and nephews and cousins all play and sing too.... I love them all.. music keeps us all together...

I don’t know why, but thought too many people wouldn’t be there…got to the box office & I bought 2 of the last 4 tickets!!! Single seats, too. Someone I didn’t know gave up his seat so that me & my friend could sit together! I just love how most of the people I’ve been around at concerts I’ve been to are so much kinder than some of your neighbors. I find that pretty amazing. Also have been listening to Pete Seeger for years! This was a real treat! Ty!
