It's Rosh Hashanah and there's no way that's going to stop things from getting weird around here. When we get into the news, we try to find ways to measure how much someone loves the US. And a story about a NASA asteroid test inspires us to rewrite the "Armageddon" theme song ("I Don't Want to Miss a Thing") since we can't afford to use Aerosmith's version.

Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show. Since Corden took the reigns as host in March 2015, he has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos, such as Carpool Karaoke."

I'm a 76 year old woman and this truly highlight of my day. The commaraderie of cast is phenomenal. What comes across at home is a workplace where they actually like each other.

This team figured out the punk rock approach during the pandemic -- as in they stopped caring about doing it the standard way, and just let whatever was funny exist as a riff. Now that James is leaving, I reckon that's been amped up. Disappointing, on that note, in that I think it was really during the past little while that we've gotten to see a lot of the 'characters' around the set shine both pushing through the COVID times and into now. Sucks that it seems the group found their lane and then announced it was ending...potentially great they'll take full advantage of it...
