I love the fact that Talbot has ghostbuster themed helmets

I played as a goalkeeper for Golden Puck tournament many ears ago in USSR. I was supplied all gear but mask was an old fashion plastic face, which also didn't protect properly. Hence I used all my pocket money to buy a helmet which was clone of CCM made in USSR, asked my father to bring me wire from a factory he worked. I used the helmet to design a mask of the wire, I wanted one recembling design of Tretyak and Myshkin masks. My farther RIP had a welder at the factory to assemble the mask from precut wire made by me. I painted it white, used some foam rubber and white tape for chin pad. Neck shield I made from transparent plastic at school during labour lesson. The mask worked very well, my team took the second place in the tournament in my city) it was more than 35 years ago....

Wish they would have had the masks with cages when I played goalie on a high school intramural hockey team. Didn't even have the cages yet for just the normal helmet. I wear glasses so I couldn't wear the old Jason style mask. And yes.....I played goalie with no mask. Did wear a helmet though. But it di di di di didn't effe effe effect me me me me!!!
