Damn, I love Joe Mad! These are some cool art books. Really really wish he'd do more comics, but he was always more into the video game side of things, sadly.

Actually LOVE art books myself and have always liked the aesthetic of the Darksiders games and have wanted to play them, so I just might pick these up!!

I love Darksiders style and I want these books but for now, I'll start with one so I wonder which one would be considered the best of the books.

I'm a huge fan of these books and darksiders 2 in particular. Unfortunately I could only afford the darksiders 2 book and I had to wait for the re-release. The original release didn't even make it to Europe and the scalpers were selling this at 1k. I wrapped mine in plastic and put it in a backpack. I'm using a garbage pdf scan from the internet in order to keep my physical book in pristine condition.

I love Joe. He’s what brought me back into comics with AoA after I kinda dropped off. I even got a chance to talk 1on1 with him while he drew me a sketch of Blink. But...Still waiting on the Battlechasers Kickstarter promised conclusion books (which I heard a rumor now won’t even be drawn by him, so what’s the point?) his style helped form a lot of copycat styles, similar to what Jim Lee was able to do with his art. No matter what, the dude is Mad skilled (pun intended)

What a coincidence at the beginning of this month i ordered all 4 books, i am a huge fan of joe madureira, i got the first 2 games, and i been delaying purchasing the books for so long that i just say enough is enough and just make the order, i also have all battle chaser comics and the original hardcover a gathering of heroes, i am now trying to get the anthology on hardcover.

Darksiders II remain one of the more enjoyable games I've played. Really liked the character and the worldbuilding

I was really disappointed with the 3rd book of not having JMad's artwork. I have books 1-3, Haven't gotten Genesis yet, and only got them because of JoeMad lol.
