One of the last big patriarchal concepts to still be in use ... and we hear so little about! Love to add the phrase "urinary leash" to my vocabulary. Let's normalize equal releaving rights, customs and norms across the genders

So, from what I've heard from similar videos/podcasts, women used to pee standing up... and I don't mean squatting. Standing. With the development of increasingly convenient alternatives, it stopped being something that women taught their daughters, and eventually it became forgotten almost completely. But yeah, it's something that can still be learned, should you be so inclined. Shout out to the Brainfood podcast- which I desperately wish had more episodes

@@mj.lMy taguht too, elderly people and pregnant womans, etc do still need to use similar aid to soak up dribbling and squirts if one can't run fast enough to the toi toi, as well as period and "v----a discarge" protection so the cloathes and chairs, etc does not get dirty whan one sit down. (Probalby also people did use nappies for adults if one know there will be a long day without toile acess, exactly as today, but there where small discrete oval shaped pottys with a lid for ladies one could usen in case of emergency for example in the church, at least where i live it was so so they did not need to pee in your cloathes sitting in the churc, i don't know how the men did, but i guess it was probably easier since most men allredy hawe the drainpipe always with them so to speak so one just had to find a corner outside the yard... I guess the priest had to as well so i don't think it was a big deal for men. ) Just my taughts...
