A video about how to slow down and live intentionally in today's busy world. And to anyone feeling behind in life, why we need to trust the timing of our own lives & stop comparing ourselves to others.
I recently took some time out to enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains after being so busy I had forgotten what it meant to truly slow down. Sometimes life can run away with us and it can be easy to move quickly to feel like we're making progress and prevent the feeling of being behind. But with this busyness we miss the enjoyment and pleasure that can come from moving slowly and the abundance already before us.
Slow living and minimalism has taught me the importance and value of slowing down and that there really is no rush. Ultimately we will end up at the destination we're meant to whether we move fast or slow but by getting there slowly we will always arrive with more.
To anyone feeling lost, behind or confused in life, know you are moving at the pace you are meant to and according to your own time. So don't worry about getting there quickly, take the time to enjoy the journey and that slow will always make that final destination more special whenever you do get there :)

Love your channel. Slowing down and trying to stop comparing myself to others has been such a positive shift in my mindset over recent months. I'm 48 and feel so behind in life compared to some of my friends. But I'm following my own path in life and now just enjoy the journey at my own pace. I'm lucky to live in Eryri (Snowdonia) and feel so grateful to have this beautiful landscape on my doorstep.

Love the encouraging message, Holly. Something that I love to do is take time away from my busy life and spend time out in nature. I'm within an hour's drive from the mountains, so I'm not far to go to a place where I can be alone with my thoughts. Spending time out on the hiking trail, reflecting, contemplating on the deeper meanings of reality, and just having joy and peace, not having to spend precious energy on the busy things that are here today and gone tomorrow. Spending time away in nature helps me to relax, slow things down, and refresh my soul, while at the same time exercising my body in the peaceful natural environment that I find myself in. I like what you said about valuing quality over quantity. To recognize and embrace the moment, the process. Eliminating the feeling of missing out, or being behind. As long as we keep moving forward, and we're being true to our core self, then we'll be right where we need to be, at the time that we're supposed to. Btw, impressive cinematography. And what a gorgeous waterfall! 😍

Beautiful video Holly :-) you're so right, we need to slow down. It's often when we slow down we notice beautiful things we might not have noticed before. I love the waterfalls and the fog in the mountains in this video, such beautiful scenery :-)

"Carving out the landscape of our lives" and the longer it takes the grander it will be resonates with me. I do differ a little in that Apostle Paul talks about finishing the race, and keeping the faith. It's just a minor difference and I agree with you that we don't have to go all out at breakneck speed all the time. If life is a marathon, we must pace ourselves so we do not run out of energy.

Going slow is maybe the way accomplishments are supposed to happen sometimes. Sometimes because it takes a while to learn the lessons you want to learn, other times because it takes a while for opportunities to arrive to you. Just don't forget what you're trying to accomplish. Not to mention, it's wonderful to take some time to enjoy the scenery, both literally and figuratively. Nice sceneries you've captured, Holly.

This is one of the best videos you’ve made it’s absolutely beautiful , the scenery is amazing and I’m sure this was one of your favorite hikes ever…your right about everything people have gone full speed ahead and forgot what it feels like to enjoy things.. and without slowing down we get out of balance and were not able to connect with ourselves so that we know what it is that we need in our life to find balance again and I don’t think it’s possible to hear our own soul without being in a moment that is quite and still…..now you know how much I love ❤️ to make you smile so I have to say it … I’ve never seen anyone in my life look that beautiful in a beanie hat with the fluffy ball on top…& there’s one problem I found with this video.. it’s to short ….I had to watch it 5 times 😊 thank you Holly for being such a beautiful person and always brightening up my day

This was in snowdonia national park but not mount Snowdon unfortunately due to the poor weather conditions!🙁⛰️ I haven’t but will pop it on my list if you recommend a visit!😃
