this is one of my long term goals i’ve been striving for since i started at the gym back in april and recently started weighted pull ups and will definitely start using the band technique

This isn't a one arm pull up, this is a one arm chin up, which is a lot easier.

so I can continue doing pull-ups with 1 arm like you do, I was worried because whenever I see a video of pull-ups with 1 arm, the person goes up and touches the other shoulder to the bar and not the same shoulder that is lifting the body

Did you spend alot of time on static isometric hanging? I find they are just as important as the bent arm work

I didn't really do much static single arm hangs, instead I did more of active one arm scapular shrugs to build up the explosive strength to initiate the one arm pull up. Hope it helps! :)

@@CaliMD-fl1ug I find that those scap depression didnt help me that much since it was more a lack of bicep initial strength in that stretched elongated position more than it was a lack of scap strength but again its different from people to people which different weakness they have
