Nice machining work. I don't know if it's your camera, YT compression etc, or just reality, but that show side scale has a mesmerizing pattern. I'm not usually a recurve fan, but that looks mild and wide enough where it might be alright. The overall profile of that blade is gorgeous.

I think the thumb disks have a sort of cool, crude/unrefined look to them so I’m a fan 😂 Yes, I agree they’re not the most elegant things, and holes, studs, fullers, or fancy designs like Null do look better… but the disks have a charm 😂 I’m a lot less accepting of the recurve. This is a nice knife. 4:03 I think that companies should mill that framelock cutout/relief internally (as a lot of companies do-Spartan, ZT, Sherif’s new Aurelia, etc) 5:03 if you like that handle design do you like either Adamas or the lighter weight Adiras from Benchmade? Yeah, it seems a little high in price. Kami seems to be a Japanese word for the deities of the Shinto religion. Thanks for the video, JB!

I carried an Emerson, so a disc doesn't phase me. I don't like the recurve after owning a couple. Mixed emotions here JB. Kami is Japanese for spirit or divine as in kami kazi or divine wind.

Like the handle, slightly reminiscent of Civivi Elementum to me. Looks like burlap Micarta - good stuff. I dislike both thumb studs and disks - ruins the “clean” look of the blade; flipper enough to do the job, but to each his own. And yes, for $200 bucks, shouldn’t we get Magnacut or something else “exotic”?
