I've been wasting my money on PS Plus Deluxe for too damn long now. It's time to finally start getting some bang for my buck, as always with a twist. I added all of the PS Plus games for July into a wheel and... well got a dud if I'm honest but that just made me platinum something better anyway!

Just platinumed Hades, my god was the platinum time consuming, mostly because I didn’t do a lot of things early on that I didn’t think was important.

When you mentioned the benefits of trophy hunting over achievement, I felt it deep in my soul. I got 100% on RE7 on xbox and was so proud. It probably took a couple years off of my life. Then I bought the dlc and I'm at like 67% now☠️. I know it's on ps plus but I don't think I have the soul to do it again.

It's so defeating mate, I've had a number of 100% on xbox but as soon as a dlc or update adds achievements you have nothing to show for your hard work! That platinum isn't everything but at least it shows you did all the main requirements!

While I’m sad I couldn’t get to see you try for the platinum of Melty Blood I’m also glad it wasn’t chosen for the first game and therefore something you didn’t enjoy. So I guess I’m finding the good in the bad so to say lol. Great vid man love the wheel vids

I saw Dynasty Warriors 9 on that Wheel and I am so glad that you didn't get it. I Platinumed DW9 and I now have trouble enjoying previous DW games because 9 sucked so hard.

I like that he talked about the game being bad in the title, and had Gandalf in the thumbnail to hint at the game being Gollum lmao Though, speaking of thumbnails, I genuinely enjoy how he has the title of the game be a mystery for the first week or so when he does the wheel of platniums, then changes it later. I really admire the effort, it's dope af.

I played the ascent a year or so back and enjoyed it a bit but never really played much outside the opening hour. This looks a lot of fun though once you get into it more. so might have to go back and revisit it and maybe get the plat!

Yeah I was a bit the same when I first booted the game up, a bit unsure for the first hour or so but I'm telling you it really finds its stride soon after and is a blast!

I've also recently completed that F&F game and I think it was my fastest non-puzzle game platinum ever. It took me longer to get a second controller than to finish that trophy.

I've heard great things about The Ascent. Haven't played it yet, but congratulations on getting this Platinum. I am currently working on getting the Platinum for Quake. What a fantastic game.

Really good game The Ascent. I had to stop my playthrough due to a game breaking bug: quest wouldn’t trigger when I was in the correct spot. Now add The Quiet Man to the wheel!

You should put one option where you get to choose the game you platinum but on ur other wheel since that has more games so it becomes more unlikely

Yeah I sort of already do that. The wheel is great in itself but the other aspect that makes it great is that there is so many games to pick and choose from that I know people want to see. So I can every now and again just play whatever I want from the wheel

Saw Undertale was on the wheel and felt a sense of dread. The game itself is fantastic, but the platinum is... something else. This is coming from someone who has it as their very first platinum trophy ever on their current PS account (my old one from the PS3 days is long gone).

The ascent was absolute shit on ps5 with 3 friends it took 36 hours to platinum because of all the bugs game freezing and application errors would avoid playing with mutiple people

@@MayorHairBear Yeah they are a total grind early game and it's euro jank at its best and worst. That said, the levels are all handcrafted and while the early game feels broken, those who persist are rewarded with a really fun game once you have leveled up. A diamond in the rough. These games are also very popular in Germany and Russia. 😁😁

Meanwhile, over here, I'm dying so much (on normal) that I got the 100 death trophy, without trying, and I'm barely on the "data miner" mission. Looking at the walk-through, it's not even halfway through the story. 😅😅😅
