Harvey Milk and George Moscone were progressive icons in San Francisco, both in 1978 and the present day. Harvey Milk is known throughout the LGBT community as one of the first openly-gay officials to serve in public office, and as an outspoken leader of the gay rights movement. George Moscone led San Francisco into a progressive era that resembled the style of government that San Francisco is infamous for today. Harvey Milk and George Moscone died at the hands of Dan White, a member of the board of supervisors along with Harvey Milk. Dianne Feinstein also weaves her way into this story. It was she who found the body of Harvey Milk after Milk was murdered in cold blood. Feinstein would go on to become mayor of San Francisco and Senator from California, a role she serves in to this day.

At the 1979 trial, Dan White was incarcerated for 5 years. He was released in 1984. In 1985 he committed suicide, he was 39 years old! Dan White ruined his own life as well as the lives of many others.

correction: the massacre in Guyana was not a mass suicide. those people were threatened to either kill themselves or be killed by gunshots. a few people survived: some were able to hide and/or played dead. there is more, just look into it.

Harvey Milk liked underage boys, luring them away from their families before giving them drugs and alcohol and having sex with them. Two of his victims committed suicide. Milk also endorsed and supported his friend Jim Jones, the cult leader who convinced 909 people to commit mass suicide. 30% of those who died were children. But let's pretend Milk was the victim.
