The Audacity Play-at-Speed Toolbar

The Play-at-Speed tool in Audacity can save you time in your podcast editing. It's versatile in that it gives you a way to speed up the tracks you're editing so you don't have to go through them in real time. It also gives you the ability to slow down a track if you need to isolate a section of audio that needs special attention.

Is there a setting to compensate for the pitch when playing at speed ? Thanks!

You could try changing the pitch in the Effects Menu while using the Play at Speed. As far as I know there is no direct correlation available. As an alternative, you could use the Time Track to change the speed and apply the pitch change you need in the selected portion of the track - or the entire track.

but how can save the file which i used in play at speed toolbar?

Files are saved the same regardless of whether you used the play at speed tool or the regular play button. The play at speed is just an additional way to play it back.

@@LearnAudacity it means we cant download the play at speed version which we play in the app
