Welcome to DESIGN SEED!
In our previous episodes, we noticed a huge amount of interest relating to sustainable and green architecture but how much do we understand about sustainability and going green? What depicts the term of a green building?
Todays episode we will be featuring an astounding project designed by NWKA Architects located among lush greeneries concaved within a valley in Bukit Raja, Klang. This state-of-the-art facility cost approximately RM125million ringgit with 26,000 sq metres of warehouse and office space. This project has won multiple local and international architecture awards and it is also a Green Building Index Certified Project.
Sustainability is not just about preserving greens but a commitment to enable an environment where greenery is simply about living it.
Do you agree that the climate is changing? Don’t you think that we are the cause of this change? Can we all make a difference? The understanding of going green and the guidelines towards sustainability can correct the perception and route us towards the right path in crafting a greener building.
We will be featuring more green contents of such to encourage an awareness and movement towards cultivating a better and greener tomorrow.
Please subscribe to our channel and stay tuned to more of our upcoming compelling episodes!
Thank you for watching!

Absolutely love that the focus on being green. We need more videos like this that share how architecture and design can be sustainable in such climates.

We have only this planet in the universe is such a profound statement. We must appreciate the care they have shown in designing and making this building sustainable with passive design elements and turning the negatives into positive, use of active louvers to reduce direct heat again, cooling the warehouse through the clever ventilation design. Apart from that the building is gorgeous and a great work place.

At 11:30 - "our plant is the only planet that's green...... And this layer of green is very thin. what sustains life is this thin green layer. " Wow, that's a revelation for me!

Great video Team! Just one important advice. Please match the music, narration and voiceover decibels. Sometimes the voice are too soft so we tend to increase the volume but music afterwards becomes too loud. This minor improvement will take your videos to a whole new level.

Asking people if they agree or not is moot when the climate is clearly changing in front of our eyes. I remember snowy winters in the 70s and 80s in the UK. We don't get them now.

It's a truly beautiful building, it's cool that they use bricks for insulation, but are those locally available? You repeat statements like "it's like you're not in Malaysia" but why wouldn't you want it that way? Isn't it better to amplify and improve on the context rather than go a completely different direction?

Louver revival! This was popular in the late 60's with manual cranks and gears to move the louvers ( glass fiber w/ bonus asbestos )!

the biggest issue in SE Asia here is the humidity. A lot of material, if not properly treated and maintained will become moldy and unsightly.

I agree with saving the environment but do you know how much co2 is released in brick burning or how much coal and burning of wood takes place in the making of it or are those done differently I would like to know as I am in search of green material for my new house.

"And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." (REVELATION 20:12-15 NKJV) Today, while you are still alive and able, may you repent from your sins, believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that JESUS CHRIST is your Lord and Savior, so that through Him, your name will be written in the Book of Life. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (JOHN 3:16-17 NKJV) JESUS LOVES YOU. HE DIED FOR YOU. Please do not ever forget that. ✝️

The changes in the weather are real. The official explanation is just a story. Our magnetic field is changing. The magnetic poles are moving and are on an excursion. What we experience as weather is the direct result of the interaction of the sun and the magnetic field. Humans play no role in magnetic excursions. And these excursions have happened may times before. The change is real.

Hello, our weather has been interesting to say the least in Australia, we as citizens are now collecting proof of photos, evidence in our water systems of intentional weather manipulation, and possible spraying of what we are unsure of just yet. Our skies predominantly have been crissed crossed by jets where this has resembled a Scottish kilt. Many photos up and down east coast of Australia, and there after rain has come, a lot of rain. Interesting that a proposed bullet train corridor, smart city locations are in these flooded regions, along with many farms of agriculture and fruits and veggies. This is very political, global, intentional, the evidence of jets has been identified, along with weather radar stations. Question this all today, especially as they roll out climate change, renewables, smart cities agenda. Our govts are very cruel now to Australians. 🐨🌿🙏🏼
