for anyone who didn't notice, the guy in the backrooms doesn't actually fall to his death, we aren't looking from his perspective but the camera's. If you slow down the last jumpscare you can see that the monster snatches the guy up and the camera falls down the hole alone. The guy fell victim to whatever that entity does to people.

13:02 Something important to notice here, He doesn't fall. The monster grabs him and the camera falls. So while the camera stays in the real world, he is being eaten or something.

When you realize in the Backrooms ending when Cory says,”it teleports him in the sky” The monster actually grabs him and cracks his body and it’s just the camera falling.

13:29 Actually when you rewind the footage, you can see that the cameraman did not make it out. When he was ambushed, he dropped his camera which then returned to reality, while he was left with the monster in the back rooms.

I've seen Backrooms several times now and it still gets me. The chase scenes with the atmosphere of a liminal space are horrifying to me.

Fun fact: in the ending of the backrooms video, the guy didnt fall, the camera did. if you pause the moment where the camera is "looking" back you can see the guy actually get grabbed and picked up by the spiner (as i call them). 13:02 is the time you see him get grabbed because that spiner, doesnt want you leaving. Even if you will still die if you exit the backrooms.

Hey Cory, regarding this: "He teleported somewhere and teleported him right back out in the middle of the sky" The truth is both the Cameraman and the camera were teleported into the backrooms, but unfortunately only the camera came out of the backrooms. It actually grabbed him, that was just the camera falling out of his hands. He died presumably in the backrooms. You can actually see a frame of him being grabbed as the camera falls.

Also in the later videos he has an autopsy of an 18 year old man they found in the backrooms. After he got grabbed apparently his body just stopped decaying. Pretty freaky little story.

The backrooms is honestly a spectacular series. I love the direction it's going in and the way that animation and actual real life photage are blened together. It gives off almost cosmic or surreal horror vibes. I love the sense of empty hopelessness brought on by the liminal spaces!

The craziest part of the backrooms footage is that it was all made by a 16 year old dude! He is rendering it in blender and the environments are not real! The camera movement is probably motion tracked that's why it looks so real. It's a series and so far it has been a pleasure to watch and a true work of art. Hope you watch more of it either on SSS or in your own time!
