After a lifetime of legendary heists, notorious criminals Mr. Wolf, Mr. Snake, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Shark and Ms. Tarantula are finally caught. To avoid a prison sentence, the animal outlaws must pull off their most challenging con yet -- becoming model citizens. Why do I want to hear from the creators of "Bad Boys", Confessions that they either chose to copy Lupine III in another form with "animals" or just make a reference to an anime that is 70 years old as a tribute?

Well, «Lupin III» is based on a manga and anime that was released in 1967 year. Meanwhile, the book «The Bad Guys» came out in 2015 year. So, theoretically, this is all a huge reference to Lupin III and other famous action movies :0

Showing the Bad Guys alongside THIS Lupin III movie (and I did like it, don’t get me wrong) just showcases how much Lupiner The Bad Guys was than this Lupin movie.
