I absolutely love this scent. I had no idea what to expect when I purchased this soap and aftershave, but the description drew me in. I switch between sharp dressed man and barbershop-both are great!

Love the video. Like another commenter, I prefer the terms “inspired by” or “homage” rather than dupe or clone. I always recommend Stirling to new shavers as their 1 oz samples cannot be beat. It’s a fantastic product, so much so that if you can’t lather Stirling, you are the problem.

Hey, that's a great way to put it! Lol. And yes, I think we're going to ban the word dupe from the show! I'm glad I had the foundation I did with great lathering soaps (MacDuff, Wholly Kaw, PAA, Stirling) as we're starting to cover lots of artisans now, and tonights was a very hard soap that was reluctant to lather... I wasn't able to get that iridescent sheen, and little pieces seemed stuck to my brush for a while. Not a real nice hug to my face, and I had a few nicks. Realizing that not all lathers are built the same.

@@TheBarbershopDuet hard soaps are just a little different to lather and take a bit of practice. If it’s European soap, it will also tend to have a different lather type from American artisans - more of a fluffy super-slick lather with significantly less skin food. I view the two styles of soap as different yet neither one as being superior. Practice lathers while, say, watching TV are a great way to nail down the hard soap differences.

@@zekehall Your words are VERY wise... I did some more homework, and just stood at the mirror today and built a bunch of lathers from our different soaps (we only have 8 open, but a nice selection already) and learned a lot, including that ANY frustrations thus far have been user error. :) I'm learning though!

This was my first soap I bought from Stirling and still love it to this day. Stirling soap company makes a great quality soap. I DISLIKE the terms “budget soap” or “entry level” because Stirling soap is a high quality base that produces a very creamy and cushioned lather with very little effort. People misapply those terms because Stirling is an outstanding soap that is offered at a very shaver friendly price point. Great show once again.

YES! Those Blacking Pencil boxes behind me are nearly complete, but I take one pencil out of each box and put it in my Abbey Road mug! The "virtual orchestra" I use to make songs for my singing clients was recorded at Abbey Road, it even has the Mrs. Mills and Challen pianos the Beatles used! :)

Stirling is a great "entry level and budget quality" shave soap Company (also, Army Veteran owned). Rod and Amanda are very detailed oriented and they listen to their customers. Sharp Dress Man is a classic and masculine scent (Creed Green Irish Tweed and Davidoff Cool Water).

@@TheBarbershopDuet All the Stirling Soaps that end with "Man" are duplicates of Creed fragrances. I like "Island Man" (Creed Virgin Island Water") and "Weekend in Malibu "... Amazing! Declaration Grooming... My favs...(Massacre of the Innocents and Trismegistus)! Saludos ✌🏽

any Shave Pucks or hard soaps will work? You can mix and match old soaps? to fit in any mug or cup that you like to use. can use any hard soaps like Mitchell's Wool Fat? Cut the bar soap up, put in a mug, cover the soap with a small amount of water, microwave for a minute or so? if it foams up, stop. is it? let cool you just went it to congeal' place in the sun, until soap hardens use dry brush more water i use Dove soaps there cheap and good wheelchair Larry Merry Christmas
