This was a very helpful video for me. I love the Green Irish Tweed as well. The only GIT soap I have used is the Stirling. I will try out a few other brands now thanks to your video. Keep up this amazing content!!

I like Cool Water, too, but I've never quite understood the comparison. A lot of people seem to find them very similar. I think they probably share a note or two, but I don't really find them that close.

Thanks for the work that went into this series, it has been fun! You’ve definitely tried more than me, and I can’t say I argue with anything besides Razorock has always been in my top rotations despite the scents being a little weaker normally. But yeah, Stirling is dope!

Haha! You made me happy for including my 3 left GIT dupe soaps in your best 6! To my nose, Wikham 1912 Shamrock Tweed scent is tenderly bright scent, though Stirling SDM is a bit rough strong scent to me. Scent wise, I can't catch from M&M Crann Bethadh any similarity with GIT, but I heard its performance is good. I've just shaved with SDM, but I'll try Shamrock Tweed first tomorrow. I appreciated your comparision, including their drawbacks. Thank you & have a good day!

I don't disagree. Crann Bethadh isn't the closest, but I still think it's really nice, and it's definitely in the same family of scents.

Like you, I favored Crann Bethadh over Sharp Dressed Man for performance and the other way round for scent. -- Great video. Thanks again.

Great video, I love Shamrock ☘️ Tweed scent. I haven't smelled Creed's but I think the British soap and Stirling soap have faired very well considering they haven't changed their formulation and have good performance. Nice to hear your thoughts. Have a great day. Very best regards Gordon 😊👍

I've not tried all of those but I do have both Stirling and PAA and for me personally, I'd put PAA above Sterling for scent quality, strength and performance of the soap. Much of this is subjective of course and I enjoyed your in depth breakdown of the soaps. I am interested in trying the Murphy and McNeil soaps now.

Very comprehensive research and review for green Irish tweed! On my last order with Stirling I accidentally ordered a extra sharp dressed man instead of executive man. If you’d like to have it let me know.

When I found out there a fellow Arizonian wet shaver out there I had to subscribe. Loving the vids so far. This one especially great. ✌️😁 I have been curious about WSP Galic Tweed, and I think you convinced me the next time I'm visiting Phoenix/Chandler I'll have to pick it up. I have a Wet The Face sample of their version and I love the performance and to me the scent is light. The Central Texas Soaps version has almost no scent to me, but like you, I found it to be a fantastic performer. Loved this series, will there be more like this? Appreciate your time to create this content.😊

I would love to do more of these series, but I need to build my budget back up or gain a few more Patreon supporters first. I'd like to do Aventus and Barbershop, but there are a lot more of those.

Yes, Aventus and Barbershop would be a good series, as I'm sure everyone have a few of each in their own den. Hey Eduardo, The only Irish Tweed-type of soap I have tried is Razorock's Irish Countryside. I'm curious to know what GW thinks of this soap but I certainly enjoy it. Razorock's version has a medium-light scent strength to my nose and is a very pleasant fresh smelling scent. I pick up that peppermint brightness GW mentions in the video. To me the performance is excellent and the price is very reasonable. I think I got mine for about $10 maybe two years ago. Worth giving it a try in my opinion to see if you even like the scent profile.

Irish Countryside is ok, but didn't make my BEST list. For me, not enough scent strength and a step behind in performance when compared to the top tier.

Ok, now I’ve gotta know…your top Aventus based soaps? For the GIT. Stirling’s SDM was one of my first two tubs of soap and a staple in my rotation.

My Aventus experience is much more limited. If I can get a few more Patreon supporters I was considering doing this with Aventus next year. There's quite a few more Aventus soaps, so my budget needs a bit of help for that endeavor.

Just purchased Sharp Dressed Man for my dad for fathers day. Getting him into the wet shaving game, as I have enjoyed it very much. He also is a head shaver as am I, and these soaps work great for that.

Grind just a little menthol into that Formula T. Trust me on this. :) Its a dead ringer to that GIT scent.
