In this video we are talking about The basic pieces to always keep in your wardrobe, all year round The basics, the foundation pieces will work as a capsule wardrobe but can also be used as a stepping stone to amazing style. I have chosen basics that can work all year round so add and take away so it will suit your lifestyle and personal aesthetics.

Sweetie, I ...... can .... not!!! I'm in love with all my outfits haha. I had to say goodbye to a lot of outfits and shoes when we moved, but it broke my heart!! It sounds stupid but this is all I have left since my health is gone ;-( When I see something colorful I go nuts. 🤣. So very little neutrals in my wardrobe excepted for white (and the bit of black), for the rest: COLOR (Bright pink/pink, winered/red, purple/lavender etc.), with a touch of another color in it (orange, yellow, green or else), the more color the better. Some will think I will look like a clown but my husband (who is a bit older and more conservative) or son (who is 29 and only likes black!) + the people who I meet like it, I even get a lot of compliments!! Although I'm a plus size shortie 😂. I do not have a black dress, cause I really do not like black!! I have some dark things (dark blue and also black but no dresses!), a skirt, pants, shirt. On my funeral I do not want black at all, as much color as possible or I come back to haunt the one who dares to wear a dark color WHHOOOEEEHHAAAAAHAHAHA 👻!!!! I admire people like you who can menage to do as you, only a capsule wardrobe. RESPECT!! My wardrobe is planning to 💣💥 sooner or later. LMAO. lol I have a lot more clothes than just these but after having a wardrobe bursting at the seams, then changing size and had to start over, I decided to really embrace a more basic wardrobe and I love it. The basics I’ve showed here are the one I always wear, and I just mix and match with other pieces too x

@@ImjustmeMarleen I don't have a style, I really love ALL styles!! And that is also a problem, Marleentje! I can't choose and no one can help me decide, my husband or son are of no use to me in that regard! The son and I used to have friends, but because we couldn't keep up with their pace and often had to cancel appointments, we no longer have friends IRL!! So I don't have anyone who can go through my overloaded wardrobe and decide what I look good in and what not, what to keep and what to get rid of. I know people advise you to get rid of things you haven't worn/used for a long time, but, stupid me, this is simply not possible! In recent years I prefer to wear long clothes, so trousers but also skirts and especially dresses (easy), up to just above the ankles or so. Because I often wear flat shoes (ballerinas and sneakers) or something with wedges or block heels, it should not be too long. I have belts but barely wear them. I also have sweaters (not knitted ones), but because I sweat so often I prefer to wear a regular shirt with a cardigan (preferably a little longer with pockets!) over it, rather than a sweater or shirt with long sleeves. So maybe I should start by getting rid of those pieces that are shorter than what I prefer to wear?? There are some skirts that meet this requirement and a few dresses. Even a real silk dress!!! I wish I knew somebody who I could give that to cause it was quite pricey that dress!! Never wore it BTW! Sad is it not? When things are a little calmer again (I have had to take care of the son's lower legs twice a day for months now because he has wounds there from sweating hard) and we have less going on (a lot of walking from one doctor to another) I can start taking everything out of my wardrobe to remove what is 'short' instead of long, as I prefer to wear? I will keep you posted, honey!! For now I must rest very much a lot of times. I really love your outfit choice, you look so amazing in every piece and you look so slim every time!!!! Wish you lived around here hihi. I mainly buy belts on shein and in Primark. But asos and your clothing have great ones too that goes up in bigger sizes too x

Good countdown of classic pieces. However, many of your all year round pieces like blazers and light sweaters do not work in an Australian summer.
