This movie was everything I wanted it to be. Pattinson may move up to be my new favorite Batman. I truly loved the Neo-noir style this film carried and the stacked cast was incredible. A 10/10 for me!

I’m so glad to hear that Paul Dano plays Riddler as a little wacky. He’s always been my favorite Batman villain, especially Frank Gorshin, and I was worried this version would be too “zodiac killer.” I’m even more excited now, and we’ll see if Battinson beats out Batfleck or Kilmer as my favorite.

Awww man I love hearing this, Chris. After more than a decade, we finally have a universally-loved live action Batman movie again. I haven't seen the new movie but my favorite Batman to this day is still Kevin Conroy's from the Arkham games. For live action, it would be Bale's but I do kind of wish he was more terrifying to criminals like Affleck's but he's still the best for me overall.

I loved Robert Pattinson's new interpretation, I think he's probably my favourite Batman and I can't wait for more.

I would say my favorite is Kevin Conroy’s interpretation in Batman: The Animated Series. That’s the version I always think of, my ideal Batman, my ideal Alfred, my ideal Joker. The series embodies everything that Batman is and dives into the psychology of these iconic characters.

Pattinson was the best Batman but I think Christian Bale was the best Bruce Wayne

Honestly, i haven’t the seen the movie yet but i have a huge feeling that it’s going to be my favorite Batman movie. The seriousness and grit and darkness gives a Long Halloween vibe. Im extremely excited to Robert Pattinson’s version and how he executes the character.

The arkham games I think really hit home as my favorite interpretation. They’ve got the gritiness and whimsical realism that I think is necessary to make every aspect of Batman work properly and are executed amazingly well

My favorite interpretation of Batman was in the Batman Animated Series. Kevin Conroy just does such a damn good job of capturing everything about both Bruce Wayne and Batman. I also absolutely adore Mask of the Phantasm, it probably is the most complex character study in animated form of Bruce Wayne and Batman that there ever has been.

I would say my favorite Batman is from The Dark Knight Returns. I love that he’s old and comes out of retirement to stop the mutant gang. He’s also massive and super strong. That version of Batman is just so awesome to me.

I’m really excited that they are expanding this universe even more with the HBO max shows, and I hope this franchise can at least get a full trilogy. My favorite Batman is Christian Bale because I grew up with him, but I’m excited to see what Robert Pattinson can bring to the roll

I honestly really love the Batman: Year One comic movie. It’s so faithful to the comic and animated insanely well. Imo, 10/10!

The Batman is by far my favourite. First time I've truly felt like I was seeing an authentic Batman universe. Nolan's films were amazing, but too realistic if that makes sense, and Affleck was perfect for the role but even tho BVS and Zack Snyder's Justice League are some of my favourite Superhero films, he wasn't given much to do and to really show off BATMAN. This film did it perfectly. And this was actually a Batman film. Every other Batman film. Most have very little Batman in it

Even though the film isn’t fully released to the public yet I have a good feeling Robert will be my number 1 favourite live action Batman. I have a lot of faith in his performance, the movie looks and sounds amazing!

I’d say my favorite interpretation of the bats would be the Arkham Asylum games, every character was ripped out of a comic setting and placed in a dark and gritty somewhat realistic world. Batman’s detective skills really shine in those titles and I feel Matt Reeves could’ve taken inspiration from such perfectly crafted puzzle and detective segments and implemented them onto his movie. My favorite interpretation of Batman in Christian Bale. Loved how well he fitter into the grounded universe Nolan created. Being one of the best actors of our generation, I’d think it’s a no brainer. 😃

After watching the movie I can say, Pattinson is probably my favorite Batman right now. He made a perfect young Batman for this fantastic movie, everything is so well crafted and he fits right in like a perfect puzzle piece.

My fave interpretation is the animated series. They nailed everything with the show and the movie mask of the fantasm. The voices for Batman and joker are perfect, the episodes had a noir take which gave this version of Batman a true detective feel. I have mad respect for the animators and the writers for that show.

The Batman is already my favorite by far despite not having seen it. It's the interpretation and passion I've dreamed of for a Batman movie. The casting is fantastic, it's visually stunning and the score is incredible. Matt Reeves is a tremendous director. I'm beyond excited to see it tomorrow for the special fan screening.

My favorite Batman has to go to the Arkham Games interpretation. It's the Batman that made me fall in love with the character and made me appreciate the other interpretations there are. I'd say Bat-fleck is my number 1 as he's just a brooding badass with some Alfred banter I like. Can't wait to see Rob!!

I had Faith in Matt reeves since he made one of my favorite trilogy: Rise/Dawn/War of the planet of the apes. I’m glad it is exceedingly expectations. Edit: he didn’t do Rise but the last 2 apes in the trilogy.

This and Multiverse of Madness are my most anticipated movies of the year. Nice to see it’s great. Also, my favorite Batman is probably Michael Keaton. Hopefully this can live up to my hype.

my favorite version of Batman was actually the Arkham series (other than the comics) as it covered the whole nine yards with the villains and side characters you truly cared for them. Also batman had great character development and he really felt like he was putting on a tough persona but on the inside was still scared and traumatized by his parents death

I remember watching The Dark Knight in IMAX when I was 13. It changed my life. I was obsessed with it. I instantly got the same feeling when I saw the trailer for The Batman. I already knew it would be my favorite batman film. As much as I love TDK this is the batman film I've been waiting to see.

I can honestly say one of my favorite iterations of the character is def Ben Affleck’s batman - I loved the intensity and rage he had, but def happy to have Robert as our new Batman - I’m super excited to see him prove everyone wrong 😭😤❤️

I'd say my favroite version of batman is the dark night version just due to how he is who I grew up with and is my very first suphero I saw with my grandpa. But tbh the animated series batman is probably my 2nd favroite. But oh boy this might just beat dark night batman. Im gonna see it with my grandpa and im excited that hearing this gives me joy.

My favorite interpretation of Batman is Batman Returns. I think it’s one of the best Batman films to date. Gotham is amazing. Penguin is mesmerizing. And Keaton just cements himself as a Batman legend.

I think this could easily become my favourite batman interpretation I really like batman because of the detective stuff surrounding his character and we haven't really gotten full interpretation's of that so I am excited. So far my favourite is Nolan's dark knight trilogy I thinks its really awesome but maybe if we got more time with batfleck then he might be my number one.

Outside of Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman, my favorite live-action Batman to date would have to be Ben Affleck’s. From being the first to don the black and grey suit, to being the first to be close to the actual size of Batman and the confidence he had in the suit it was near perfection.

My favorite interpretation of Batman has always been from the DCAU, especially Batman from Justice League Unlimited (which is also the same Batman of the animated series). This was my TRUE introduction to the character and what he should be. He's intimidating, has a great presence, and is incredibly skilled in many things. I especially loved how he helped a girl feel safe by having Batman simply sit alongside her waiting for her death. This is the Batman I think of as the one true Dark Knight.

My favorite interpretation of Batman is definitely tied between Batman from BTAS and the Arkham Batman. BTAS really capture the emotional, traumatic, and heartbreaking side of being Batman. Along with giving us some of the greatest stories and origins with villains like Mr Freeze, Harley Quinn ,and the Penguin. And in the Arkham games we really got to see Batman grow from a hatred-full angry vigilante into a man who has given it his all and saved the city who in the end had to make a sacrifice for the greater good. And the voice acting was phenomenal

Kevin Conroy in the Arkham series of games really hits home for me. Couple that with watching the animated series that Conroy voiced and those video games became one of the coolest Batman experiences you can get. Maybe second to that live show on ice but I've never been haha

Let’s go a review about the Batman! This movie seems absolutely amazing and I’m seeing a fan preview of it tomorrow so I cannot wait!

That's just what I wanted to hear really. A batman film, that gives a damn about one of the most foundamental aspects of the character. That crazy inteligence stat, applied to his equally crazy detective skills, and overall code of framework (nokilling rule including). Never understood how these could be overseeing for SO many movies, so many different revisions of the character( sadly including the supposedly more serious and comic accurate ones ), generating whole fanbases with various degrees of high copium addiction over the years. Also didnt expect a riddler pov, but did expect him being out for a significant part (based on the film's unkowledged influences & trailer hints). I also expected something that might seem like a problem to a part of the audience, in regards to its overall climax tempo, but guess ll have to wait and see the movie(perhaps it was "corrected"/ actually streamlined via the blockbuster method, in the edits). Or might be just a false guess. Such a relief that this batman has(at last) a no-killing rule.

I love The batman (2004 animated series) interpretation It has a great dark atmosphere but it's also fun. A very underrated series and one of the coolest things about that series was Adam west being the mayor of Gotham. Also the art style was very much anime inspired which is why it stands as one of the best unique batman

My favorite Batman interpretation is the Dark Knight Returns comic. I love how they show how his patience has warn off and he can still be badass even if he’s aged.

Just watched it. What an awesome introduction to an even more grounded, young and restless Bruce Wayne. With only two years for young Batman the film is dark, it’s gritty and it’s all about the detective work. This is why we all love Batman, because he has so many layers up on layers to explore. Matt Reeves just revolutionized the Riddler. Paul Dano was amazing, pretty much every cast is amazing. What I really like is that the film shows us how young Batman is scared to even fly off high rise buildings stil, but also throws out his body with no hesitation to enemy bullets, sometimes not being able to control his anger during a fight. He gets shot in the chest, punched in the head and doesn’t give in. But above all it haunts him to see anyone get hurt because he’s still affected by the death of his parents. The cinematography is amazing, and boy the city of Gotham is just on another level. You’ll get scared to even pass by the city let alone live there. Shows the true nature of corruption and political deceives. Reeves created a unique Batman sets just as Nolan’s was different than Tim Burton, as well as for Zack Snyders Batman. Each directors build their own unique elements and universe for the Batman. Perhaps the greatest advantage is that character Batman is so versatile and any director can interpret it based on the excellent comic books written. DC needs to focus on these kind of movies because honestly they’re just perfect. I’m hoping we will get another amazing trilogy if it continues like this. My respects to all the previous and current directors for giving us different types of Batman. I really like all the Batman iterations since 2005. (Baleman, Batfleck. & Battison).

You know, I really think this will be my favorite rendition. Pattinson just seems to be the perfect casting and the way Reeve’s wrote this Batman is just so, so phenomenal. Friday seems so far away right now, I’m so excited to see this film especially as it seems the film lives up to the marketing and trailers.

Can’t wait to see this. Ill admit as the months went by, my hype for this movie died down a lot. I have a lot of similar opinions to you about comic book movies so from what you said about The Batman, my hype has gone through the roof

My favorite Batman iteration would be Michael Keaton. Batman Returns is my favorite batman film. The creative choices Burton took in truly perfecting the character of Gotham as a gothic wonderland is amazing. I love Walken as Max Shreck, and Catwoman and Penguin are my two favorite Batman villain performances with the exception of Ledgers joker.

My favorite interpretation of Batman definitely is Robert Pattinson, I know I haven't watch the movie yet, but this movie has everything I've been waiting to see in a Batman movie, from the aesthetic of Gotham, the suit, the noir touch, the photography, and Catwoman! this one for sure feels like the perfect mix of everything that makes Batman great.

Honestly I like Christian Bale's version of Batman (mostly because I was a kid when The Dark Knight trilogy were coming out) I also have a love/hate relationship with George Clooney's version I blame that on my mom because Batman and Robin is her favorite Batman movie and she always played the VHS of that movie whenever we were bored. Also kinda had a crush on Uma Thurman's Poison Ivy when I was a kid lol.

Hey chris loved your batman reviews so far and your spidy reviews. I also grew up with christian bale's batman like most people here in the comment section. I really love that they will take advantage of the batman in this upcoming movie and give him more screen time. What I loved about the nolan trilogy is they did a really good job on bruce wayne. I feel like nolan did a better job in making the audience invested in bruce wayne however nolan didn't portray batman aswell.

My favourite version is Ben Affleck's Batman, dude was intimidating, physically imposing , really good as Bruce Wayne. Really fit the story and the fights! Some would say he got the short end of the story. But i still love his take.
