I also love how they show Batman actually helping people at the end. Beating up criminals is awesome and all but he is a hero at the end of the day and I like how they showed how passionate he was about helping people. Especially that lady he carried to the helicopter, was a nice moment.

This movie finally answers how batman changes in and out of his suit, he carries a backpack

One of the things that surprised me about the riddler was how he killed his victims, they were like saw traps it’s so awesome and terrifying

We so rarely get to see heroes in these movies save people. That sequence at the end of him just saving people and realizing he needs to be something different is genuinely beautiful. This is my favourite film from the superhero genre. There’s so much raw beauty and passion in this film.

It’s actually insane how everything and everyone in this movie is in some way connected to each other really closely.

My favorite moment is honestly Batman’s opening monologue. Showing all the criminals looking into the shadows terrified gave me the chills.

Yes! Chris you've hit the nail on the head with the "I'm Vengeance" scene. The thought I had on the way out of the cinema last night, the 3rd film would introduce the Joker, after a break out of Arkham happening as maybe a cliffhanger for Batman 2. With the new TV series being based round Arkham Asylum, Wooo! We Batman fans are being treated good!!

saw it twice within 14 hours.... this felt like I was watching a long cutscene of the Arkham knight mixed with seven and zodiac and chinatown, etc. This felt like long halloween brought to the screen. What a great way to have the first installment of the series be a monumental one. My new favorite batman, the batman I always wanted to see. The only batman I would actually be afraid of if I was a criminal in Gotham. MASTERPIECE! ALSO I LOVE HOW EVERYBODY CALLED BATMAN VENGEANCE. The only time Batman was used was when riddler wrote it on the letters.

Scariest part, after the Batman and Riddler prison talk. From what I can remember Batman goes back to Riddlers place and theres 2 photos that Batman finds, 1 with Riddler masked and the other unmasked. The unmasked photo haunts me.💀

I would love to see either ventriloquist or killer moth in the sequel, both characters would bring a great horror vibe

The penguin vs batman car chase was incredible, especially when you can feel the car vibrations rumbling throughout the theater

I absolutely loved the beginning where Batman was narrating his progress with Gotham and just seeing criminals absolutely terrified by the Bat-Signal and being afraid of every dark places was just so badass with Batman saying," I can't be everywhere."

Oh absolutely fell in love with this movie. One of the first scenes made me decide I loved it. When all the Criminals looked in the shadows and we zoomed in not knowing if he was there or not . Loved it

The Batman is the most history making revolutionary franchise to be so new with it to be a true noir detective film. Robert Pattinson is the perfect actor to be a noir detective Batman with his badass narrating with his badass sinister voice. And his fight choreography is the dopest that is superior to the dark knight trilogy’s choreography. Paul dano is a amazing terrifying riddler and Zoe kravitz is a awesome live action version of Selina Kyle from Batman year one. Jeffrey Wright embodies Gordon so well and as unrecognizable Collin Farrell was, his performance is so top notch.

Watched the movie last night and got out of the theatre at 2:00 AM. This movie is incredible. The story seems like its over but it just keeps giving. What an incredible film. 10/10

This movie was incredible! The cinematography, the choreography on the fights scenes, the acting. Matt Reeves is a genius! The only unfortunate thing that happened was the movie screen was to dark for some apparent reason. Same thing happened when watching NWH. But other than that, 10/10 just amazing.

Professor pyg, the ventriloquist, and the joker would be the best villains for this type of Batman since the first one is like a horror mystery movie. Professor pyg would be great for the sequel

Absolutely incredible. The fear they put in me just hearing him walk and hearing the metal clank on his equipment . I watched in AMC Dolby with the speakers in the seats so every punch you could feel the vibration. Absolutely insane . Low key horror movie and loved . Never did I ever think I would ever love a Batman more or less then Christian Bale , also I had no idea Penguin was Colin Farrel, holy shit . #Vengeance

The high tech eye contacts Robert Pattinson wears is awsome to be truly the live action adaptation of detective mode from the Arkham games.

This movie is a total masterpiece, no single second bored me and the Riddler is just so amazing and this fucking batman was so great, his Bat Signal is a real warning!

In the first movie he say’s “I’m vengeance” I think on the second or third one he’s finally gonna say, “I’m BATMAN!” I see what you’re doing Matt Reeves 👏👌

My favorite thing about this movie is that it leaves so much space for progression and development for the Batman and Bruce Wayne. You can and will see where both alter egos will improve in the coming sequels.

To be honest I just wanna see scarecrow in this universe, not only is he my favourite villain of all time but I think he would fit so perfectly into this universe setup by Matt reeves

There’s an interview with Matt Reeves on his Joker that I highly recommend watching. Basically, joker wasn’t created by Batman being thrown into toxic waste….this joker was born with a condition that doesn’t let him stop smiling. He’s had to spend his life with people looking at him weirdly. To him, life is a cruel joke and thus he becomes the clown.

After seeing The Batman and sitting on it for a bit... Wow, it was actually really, really great! I went into it thinking I wasn't going to like it much at all, especially because Rob as Batman..(don't get me wrong, he's a phenomenal actor, just not your typical "Bruce Wayne.") But, he seriously killed it along with everyone else. It's Batman's second year, and is heavily inspired from the comics I've read. (I'm sure many others have too.) It's a very grounded take on a Batman movie, with actual detective work and is totally psychologically gripping. It's like if Batman was the main character in the movie Se7en or Momento. Definitely right up there with The Dark Knight in my opinion. The cinematography, choreography, lighting, direction, acting, score, dialogue was all great too. The Riddler is absolutely mentally deranged, (kudos to Paul Dano!) and it's for sure the "darkest, grittiest, scariest" Batman yet. Everything, and everyone was great. Zoë Kravitz was an awesome Catwoman, and Collin Ferrell's Penguin... wow.. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would, that's for sure. Sure, when he is actually just being Bruce Wayne he seems a little skinny and emo to be playing him, but it's not terrible... (he's still in great shape and Batman doesn't have to be unhumanly shredded.) The suit is actually really dope so that helps.. he is Batman for 90% of the movie, which was a pleasant surprise to say nonetheless, with no origin story either in which is refreshing as well. I like Robert Pattinson's Batman more than Christan Bales now... and maybe out of them all ever. Hard not too when it's by far the most comic driven Batman storyline in a movie yet. Wow.. did I really just say that?

I saw The Batman last night and I absolutely loved it. Robert Pattinson did an amazing job, Battinson and Bale are tied for my favorite Batman. Idk which is better, TDK or The Batman. Bale is great as Bruce, but Rob is perfect as Batman. TDK and The Batman both did things better than the other, but I might put this over TDK. I need to see it again. I’ll give it a 9/10. Also I was a little bummed we didn’t see him use any batarangs😭 but the Riddler was perfect. Paul Dano was great. Everyone did an amazing job. I need more of this universe

I saw in an interview of Matt Reeves saying this version of the Joker isn’t the vat of chemicals, but more in tune with the classic Man Who Laughs. A man who is born with a disease where he can’t stop smiling, and what that does to a person.

Robert is officially my favorite Batman. I loved how Matt Reeves portrayed Bruce’s growth at the beginning of the film to the end. Himself being consumed by vengeance and a vigilante to a symbol of hope for the people of Gotham. The ending for sure sets up Bruce adapting into that persona to where he has to become something more not only using his rage for himself but using it to make Gotham a better place. Setting up his persona to where he realizes he can not only help Gotham as Batman but Bruce too, building into that playboy persona. I can see what Matt is building this universe into and I can’t wait to see more.🦇

This is the type of Batman movie I’ve always wanted, this is now also my favorite movie. I loved every single second of it. The beginning of the movie was perfect with showing the fear of the bat signal and Gotham, felt like Gotham city. I loved the new twist on the dark riddler that truly fit the mood of the movie and every single character. And most of all, I am so happy that this movie showed the true detective side of Batman, I was so in to the detective work I was trying to solve riddles.

Robert is amazing. He felt the most… mmmm, what’s the word?…honest. Exhausted, beat to shit, tough as a coffin nail, working in the shadows and with Gordon, shooting adrenaline after taking a slug to the liver. Amazing

This movie was so good!! That opening gave me chills Paul Dano is perfect for playing creepy characters. I also loved how Batman remains so cold and is scary many times, the ending really got me tearing up a bit when he helped all those people. I'm seeing the movie again next week.

I loved this movie and how Batman wasn’t perfect but was still a great detective and such a badass Robert is my new favorite Batman I’ve seen it twice and was super engaged both times and I’m going to see it again tomorrow!

I really loved the scene when Riddler had the bomb around that guys neck and he had to solve the riddles to survive, the ticking bomb made the intensity so much better and man was it scary

I loved how they showed Batman being more of a detective and the other elements of Batman instead of him just fighting

I know it’s a small thing but I really loved the way Bruce’s penthouse looked and the gothic architecture to it

I hope they save the joker for the third honestly, I would like another villain for the second film that doesn’t get a lot of love on film, maybe Mr.Freeze or Clayface?

I loved it! It gave me hints of the Arkham games, Gotham the tv show, the comics, and animated Batman shows. Made him a great detective, loved the contacts, the narration at the beginning. Still not a fan of the batsuit, bat mobile or the riddlers outfit but I’m very optimistic for the future, despite being heartbroken that Batfleck will no longer be featured in the DCEU

Awesome review man! That ending scene of Batman saving the people of Gotham paired with Robert Pattinsons monologue of needing to be something more than just vengeance is seriously one of the best Batman scenes of all time. I've seen the movie 3 times and I get misty eyed every time lol

This film literally had everything from previous batman films and so much more! So good! Everything that makes batman who he is was shown. I loved it!

I think the guy riddler was talking to in jail after the end I first thought was him talking to himself like it’s a different identity but afterwards I thought it might be joker with the joke he told him and not to mention that laugh that every joker needs also I love the development that he goes through where at the start it’s established he is smart and catches what others don’t and by the end he changes in a way I don’t know how to explain

I liked the prison scene when Riddler and the other villain were talking and laughed at the end. I especially liked when the villain said Riddlers signature line "Riddle me this..."

I love the development this Batman goes through, he learns that vengeance won’t be enough for him or for anyone. Seeing him help the people of Gotham was a wholesome moment 😁 Also I believe the reason why Riddler was upset was because he’s going to be forgotten just like Batman said he would. That’s why the Joker was talking about having a comeback

I loved the beginning scenes with the monologue and the bad guys looking at the darkness made me smile. I also loved the small things like Batman disappearing at the end of convos like on the animated movies.

This is my fav movie EVER! The music, camera work, acting and action is peak! Even if i'm more of a marvel fan, in my opinion this movie is everything i wanted and more! Also the riddler(without the mask) is honestly more insane than joker.

clarification: the reason why Riddler was so upset was because he wanted to wipe out Gotham entire and rebuild, he believes that the crime and corruption that plagued this city started from the infrastructure of Gotham that's why he was so upset because he failed!

I absolutely adore the new film! Pattinson was a perfect fit for his universe, Penguin killed it, everything down to the score was perfect! Just everything has me in awe, and I chuckled now thinking that Riddler got his henchmen by practically being a twitch streamer and it was a great story concept and was portrayed greatly and I love all of the film! Even the Joker scene, which I have certain thoughts about, and “vengeance” was great!

I think that the riddler was disappointed after the flood was because he was watching Batman getting praise in the tv. Not only did he not get what he wanted from Batman but he also got his plan overshadowed by Batman’s heroism, since part of his motive was being seen and remembered

Saw the movie yesterday. To be honest it was an amazing movie. It really showed that the Batman still has a lot of room to develop and it would be very cool to see Batman develop in the upcoming movies.

Like how the Waynes’ reveal played out, very reminiscent of the Telltale Batman games! Just wished we got some more stuff on Martha, feel like it can tie into the sanity of Bruce Wayne

I absolutely loved that all the destruction and chaos at the end took place on November 5th. I believe it’s a nod to Guy Faux and V for Vendetta.

The opening monologue scene is the best Batman anything I’ve ever seen. I had absolute chills the way the movie portrayed Batman as almost supernatural.

I think my favorite things about this movie is his gadget use and detective element. And of course probably my favorite thing Gordon and Batman’s relationship was awesome!!

I laughed out loud when Riddler confirmed that he still thought Batman and Bruce Wayne were two separate people. I thought for sure they’d pull the trigger to have him crack it in order to put his threat and menace over even more, but when that went down I was like, “now that’s the Nygma I know and I love. So smart, so intelligent but STILL can’t connect those dots”

I loved how the kid that was crying cuz if the death of his parents batman sees him and just stares… you can see in his eyes hes like i feel your pain.. i had chills such a dope movie
