Question? What is the point of screen X? Everything happens in the middle of the screen anyway

It is mostly like that because the majority of screen X movies are converted. But even then the point would be to more fully imerseyou into the movie as if you are inside it. This will be I think my seventh Screen X movie, so yeah I enjoy it. However getting the optimal seat is a must in this format.

Anybody knows if the screen X format is actually a completely Hor+ FOV, or does the center of the screen gets cropped vertically? Any comparison out there with the original format?

I went to rewatch Spider-Man No Way Home in this. The side screen did not work throughout the movie. It only was being used in certain scenes like fights. So a total of 15=20 mins only. But, whenever it was on, the screen in the front had no issues or at least I couldn't spot any. I know and understand why there was only 15 mins of the sides but I really do hope that they can in the future make movies in this format specifically because it was actually pretty cool!

@@ChaiNBooks I had a similar experience with Batman. The big action scenes used the side screens but, they weren't used for a decent chunk of the movie.

Some Regal Cinema locations have Screen X as well. So much for only at.
