How do YOU think Pokemon Horizons First Arc will end?

I wasn't expecting Horizon's 1st arc's climax with Sango & Onyx joining the fight!!!! (even Hamber too!!!) And reveal their Pokemon with Onyx & Garganacl (which fits his power enforcer motif) & Hamber with Dusknoir (a ghostly servant for a butler)!!!!!! And based on what was minimally seen, looks like Sango with either Vikavolt or Glalie (you can see its edge/spike tips as she's riding on top of it & I think it's releasing Air Slash) {Sango had this Punk-like feel to her character, and most Punk class poke trainers have been affiliated with sinister types like either Poison, Dark, & Bug OR Galie's Oni-theme origin could be a reference} Now all we have left is Agate. Also don't quote me on this, but I tried tracking near the end of the preview of what was firing a Flash Cannon at Cap while he was in Volt Tackle and I think: it might just be maybe Amethio or Onyx firing it from like Garganacl or Corviknight, but for a brief second, I think I saw Hisui Sliggoo {albeit it looks like it might just be a statue}

I think Liko and Roy might be fighting two seperate people, you can see that they are looking in different directions when telling their pokemon what move to use.

I can tell Gibeon got impatient with the pendant, that's most likely the reason why all the explorer admins are attacking. Watching this special preview makes me excited

I think we´ll going to know how Friede and Amethio got out of the galar mine from Amethio´s perpective later on. The show has established Friede as someone that usually forgets to tell important details in previous episodes. And that´s what I think that happened in the episode.

I feel like Friede could've espaced by flying into Ceruledge's Phantom Force or warp out by Teleporting with a 3rd mon.

This episode was definitely fine but the fact that they made a mess of a great cliffhanger was not acceptable. We could have seen Friede and Amethio forced to team up to either distract or beat Moltres with Friede slowly gaining Amethio's respect in the process, but we don't even get that. I have a theory about Liko's and Lucius' ancestry, judging by Lucius' hair color and skin color being the same as Liko's grandmother, mother and herself, it leads me to believe, and i'am calling it now, by saying that Liko and Lucius are related to each other, like Lucius is Liko's ascendant and Liko on the other hand is Lucius' descendant, now here's the crazy part of my theory, which to be fair has a 50/50 percent of this to happen, now what in later episodes and archs of the series, it is revealed that Liko is also connected by family with Ash and Dawn, as their cousin or something else family related, and that Ash and Serena had a child, and Ash and Serena's child had a child and that child later on in the future had a daughter named Diana, who in fact migrated to live in Galar with her family, and it's revealed that Riley whom Ash and Dawn met, is in fact in actuality their relative, and that Lucius is Sir Aaron's brother, now this would be crazy, but we'll see if this theory of mine does come true

I don’t get it isn’t Roy supposed to have the accent pokeball?? Would he have moltres and not liko? Or did he just give liko his pokeball (I don’t really watch horizons cause I don’t have time to do I don’t know all context to episodes)

I give ep.23 a 6/10! I never thought horizons would neglect the continuity like this but GODDAMN! WHAT IS THIS,JOURNEYS 2?😠 I'd say the only way they'd recover from this mistake is by giving us a flashback in a later episode of friede and amethio getting trapped with galarian moltres and show us what the hell actually happened. As for the preview,damn! I am impressed. I wasn't expect all the explorer members (minus agate and spinel) to all show up in one preview 😮. Personally, I really want amethio to win the confrontation because this is the climax of the first horizons arc so why not give the evil team a W. As for liko and roy, I'm kinda scared of the outcome due to the power scaling of these 2 battling the explorers. It could go either way,we just gotta be ready for it.

Amethio is certainly cool, BUT there's only one 'him' for me in all of anime. That him is Himsagi. I dont even care for football m8

I like the fact that Roy and Liko proven to Kabu that they caught a legendary Pokémon without training themselves after the gym battle with him XD. I still hope that Raquaza would be more challenging to Roy that it challenges Roy for a battle instead of talking just because we wanna see Roy stronger in battling as a trainer. I wonder why do you think molteres and shiny raquaza were mad at people? Like Olivio and Terapagos are chill but the others are acting weird because they are supposed to know people since Lucius used them and traveled with them.... And why do you think Terapagos went outside and not wanting go back in the pendant, is it to protect Liko so they do not steal her and harm her or to prove something to Moltres so, Moltres can trust Liko and everyone else. I think the weirdest thing in the anime so far is the Lucius's Pokémon behavior. Olivio and Terapagos are so far the most normal ones.

Maybe il skip all this how did last ep, the crack are slowly forming ... like do there cut moments like the cave becouse of budget ? I like how stuf evols , but i keep my hopes low for pay offs

Here me out. The capture of Galarian Maltras was not earned or deserved. Liko established her goal of being a pokemon trainer that seeks to understand how pokemon feel in episode 21 and how 2 episodes later she is able to calm down a Galarian Maltras? That does not make sense. Liko did not have any development b/w the episode where she establishes her goal (episode 21) and this one to justify such an outcome. What should have happened is that Liko tries to connect with Maltras, connects with it somewhat, but fails to calm it down. Maltras flies away so liko has to develop her skills to encounter it again and then calm it down. We complained about Goh being rushed bc he battled and caught a flygon in episode 33 and scicune in episode 52, and I am in no way defending those moments (bc they were horrible), but this isn't much better. Liko and Roy are finding Lucius's pokemon way too easily and conveniently. You could forgive the arboliva capture bc it was the pokemon that introduced the whole "find and catch Lucius's pokemon" storyline, but no excuse for Maltras. We are only on episode 23, Liko and Roy are both rookie trainers (the show does not even pretend like they are experienced or skilled) and they already have 2 out of the 6 of Lucius's pokemon which they so conveniently ran into. I LOVE HORIZONS and it does A LOT of things right, but one area that they are lacking in so far is challenging the cast to overcome hardship in the long term. Sure, Liko and Roy struggled and had to work and problem-solve to calm down Maltras in the short term for 1-2 episodes, but there was no long-term struggle. Even getting Liko's pendent back from Spinel took only 2 episodes and how here Liko, Roy and Dot able to defeat magnaton and Beeheyam so easily? I think part of the problem is that the anime writers are not used to writing such serious, threatening and epic moments so easily into a series so they are struggling with powerscaling and pacing for some of these moments. The original series with all of its flaws, did manage to create long-term conflict for the protagonists. Ash saved a dying charmander, they became best friends, when it evolved it stopped listening, nothing ash did worked, it would obay him only when it wanted to test its strength (eg, Blain's magmar) and then lost him his first ever league. It was only when ash saved it from near death again over 100 episodes later that charzard started listening. All these characteristics gave ash and charzard' stroyline4 emotional weight and a satisfying payoff. Charzard forced Ash to grow and mature in the long-term to earn charzard's loyalty. The "catch Lucius's pokemon" storyline is interesting and flashy on paper, but the pokemon are practically being handed to them without any nose to the pavement, long-term challenge. The Lucius's storyline so far lacks emotional weight due to being to easy and convenient.
