The new rulebook clarified the interaction between spells like Refreshing Song and multipart models - you have to specify which piece you're targeting.

Here is an all cav list for you to look at. It is the Elmer’s Riders LL. I’m hoping to expand this list to 1000 points for TGX in Toronto. I have done real well with this list at 800 points (including a podium finish and some top table last round losses) and I would love your thoughts on expanding it to 1000. Leader warband Eomer with horse, shield, and throwing Spear (TS) 1 rider of Rohan with banner 2 warband Gandalf the white on shadowfax 2 riders of Rohan 3 warband Erkenbrand on Horse 2 westfold red shields with TS 4 westfold red shields 4 warband Captain of Rohan with Horse, heavy armour, shield and TS 2 riders of Rohan 21 models, 800 points on the dot, 11 might, 17 bows, 10 Ts. I look forward to hearing your thoughts, but IMO I love playing this LL and definitely plan to keep it as one of my bread and butter options.

Hi guys, great episode, as always. Just a few thoughts having played the legion quite a bit, including WTC. For me it is brorgir cpt vs rutabi below 650. Brorgir is great, but the smaller the points value the harder it is for opponent to handle rutabi. She is a good counter to all that free heroic stuff which is one of the rate options the lists can lose in close combat. One factor in this is time. The longer the game, the better she gets. And one thing to mention, because you talk about the mobility 9 or 12 inch. Especially with an evil shooting army in a scenario where easterlings have to advance just go for those 3-4 warrior models in 6,1 inch to the front line with 2,9 distance between them and you cannot use the drum. Just try it 😉. Of course you can use brorgir for a hole, but the risk with lost priority and the warriors just closing in on 1 inch halting the whole army is to big. With the assault lists this is not so hard to do..

Suladan on Armoured Horse 4x Haradrim Warriors with Bows 2x Haradrim Warriors with Bows and Spears 5x Serpent Guard 1x Watcher of Karna with Twin Blades Mahûd King on Camel with Shield and Spear 4x Half Trolls 4x Mahûd Warriors with Blowpipes and Spears 1x Mahûd Raider with Blowpipe and Spear Mahûd King on Camel with Shield and Spear 4x Half Trolls 1x Mahûd Raider with Blowpipe and Spear 29 Models, 6x Bows, 6x Blowpipes, 7 Might Idea behind taking some Mahûd Warriors is that in a scenario like Divide and Conquer, no warband is without some kind of spear support/ranged capability as one will be self contained and the other supported by Haradrim Warriors.

Defending your army by referencing an army that you say is "more broken" is a terrible argument. I swear, the only people who say that the HotD isn't broken are the ones who play the legion.

Beats Elves? What are you talking about, Elves do everything better than easterlings at the same efficiency point for point. And their 170pt model actually interacts with the game. Elves are a dicey matchup.
