Nice kit car! I would put some kind of shielding around that coolant hose so stuff getting kicked up by the tires wont damage the hose. Hope to see some videos of you ripping it around flat land texas!

I started as just a DR fan, and have since become an OTR fan. Love your vids man. Not a terrible choice for a motor for its first build, but there's definitely room for improvement. ECU tune that thing and squeeze another 30-60 HP out of it. I would bet it could take down Porsche's, and beyond.

Does the kit car come with the engine installed ready to go or did you have another shop do that part, and left the seats, lights, body etc for you to do?

That is a really cool little car. We got the job of changing the radiator hoses on a little English Sports Car (a Lotus). There were 7 total. The car was totally uncomfortable and so over-rated! This is a sensible little car. I love it!

Love to see the thing on the scales to see how much it weighs once assembled. Also that motor is a LNF, 260hp 260ft-lbs. You can make that thing have alot of torque. Check out zzperformance, pwerks racing, and even ddm works may be able to help with that. I have a pontiac solstice with the same motor, have a few things to done to it. But from what it seems, the brakes and most of the motor stuff are the same, best of luck with the build man!

In 2 weeks when it seems slow to you the next thing to do is e-85 the cobalt engine can make huge numbers if that's what tickles your sack.

Hey, Matt. Sounds like this thing is mailed to you in roughly two deliveries, does the engine actually come with the frame?

At first I thought you were going to put in Daymaker headlights on it with motorcycle headlight mounts. Very cool to see. keep it up!

If you ever want to do any performance modifications to it, I would install a larger intercooler if you can fit it and methanol injection to help cool inlet air temps
