"I know the song and I like it but I had no idea it was by the Beatles". I'm guessing that would be your response to many, many Beatles songs. The Beatles didn't just record music - they shaped and wrote the soundtrack for a generation. There's never been another band like them, and sadly there never will be a band like them again. Utterly unique.

The world would not have evolved as it has without the Beatles. Few musicians/groups leave such an impact on people's lives and an art form in general. The Beatles, Elvis, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Queen, The Ramones, Sex Pistols, Metallica, Black Sabbath (Ozzy), 2 Pac, Eminem...artists who defined genres and left indelible marks on history.

I grew up with the Beatles in the'60s. George was my favorite Beatle. I spent hours every day laying on my floor listening to the Beatles. They changed my generation by opening up our minds and thus changed the world. It was and still is a spiritual experience to listen to the Beatles. You have to listen to their entire albums, not just a song here and there. Listen to the Beatles, open your mind to the here, now & the other dimensions that exist along with our reality, and then go out and change the world. It's now up to you and your generation. From what I see, the future of our world is in good hands - your hands.

Ringo Starr, the drummer, was in some kids show on PBS that my kids watched back in the 80s. I had one of my old Beatles albums out to play and my daughter "What's Mr. Conductor doing on that album." I had no idea what she was talking about so I watched the show with her and there he was. Now I see you guys watching this and I'm feeling old. Great music, timeless. The Beatles made some crazy movies in the 1960s that you should look up. Full of crazy antics and great music.

It's sweet how you two talk about all of their songs as just "The Beatles." As you start to learn more about them, you'll learn which songs were written by who, and who had the lead vocals on which songs. Their songs definitely vibe, but if you watch the documentaries, you'll learn that the band had strife, especially in their later years that lead to their break up.

It's lovely to see the smiles on their faces while listening to George's song! Their appreciation and feeling of joy is expressed so well. The Beatles changed the world, and I mean that literally. There were no bands like them before 1962, just soloists and vocal groups. They were the vanguard of the youth movement and counterculture in the sixties. They revolutionized songwriting and recording and were the most influential band of all time. Their legacy resonates in today's music and wins over new fans every day. Harrison once said, " The Beatles will exist without us, " and he was right.

Adding to this a little further. These are the famous four Beatles. Before they became so famous they had a different drummer, named Pete Best, and he was obviously replaced by Ringo Starr (Richard Starkey). In addition they had another member, called Stuart Sutcliffe, when they were a five piece band. Sutcliffe was a painter and left the band to pursue a career in art. Unfortunately, he died, at the age of 22, from a brain haemorrhage.

Great video reaction, thank you. Some fun facts: John Lennon and Paul McCartney were often competing for songs on each album. Sometimes in the studio in different rooms writing to get another one on there. They also co-wrote, but George Harrison was not really getting his ideas and voice out there until later. This song was one of George's, he added such a cool gentleness. Another great one of George's is While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

The Beatles were Paul Mccartney on bass, George Harrison on lead guitar, Ringo Starr on drums, and John Lennon on rhythm guitar. But there was no "lead singer." Whoever wrote the song typically sang lead on the song. In terms of historical impact, there is no musical artist as significant as the Beatles. They even have a name for the over-the-top hysteria created by Beatles' fans. They called it "Beatlemania." Also, between 1962 to 1970 the Beatles composed a song catalogue of over 200 songs; and that song catalogue is worth over $1 billion. You should do a reaction video to the documentary the, "Beatles' Anthology." It's 16 hour long episodes (2 episodes per DVD), but well worth the watch. In fact, that would give you quite a bit of material for reaction videos.

How many songs like this can make a 5-year-old smile just as easily as a 65-year--old? Seeing a couple young people experience it is a genuine pleasure.

I was 10 when George Harrison died in 2001 (this is his song), and that's when I started listening to the Beatles. I listen to lots of different music today, from garage punk to underground hip-hop, but I've never got tired or bored of them. Lots of people only knows their early simpler stuff, which is also amazing, but they did so many different and amazing style of music in the short time they were together. You should check out songs like A Day in the Life, Strawberry Fields Forever, Tomorrow Never Knows, Revolution, or the Abbey Road Medley.

It's part of the soundtrack of the movie PARENT TRAP, the one that stars Lindsey Lohan as a twin when she was a young great child. One of my all-time favorites.

John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and the drummer Ringo Starr. They're from Liverpool England started playing professionally around 1962 up until around 1970. By 1971 they had broken up as a band but John, Paul and George had amazing solo careers. Check out John Lennon's greatest song called Imagine. It's a CLASSIC. Unfortunately John was assassinated by a "fan" in 1980 in New York RIP.

Yes, you are correct. I was referring to George's songs on the Abbey Road album. While My Guitar Gently Weeps, which is a great song, was released on the White Album.

John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Star. The Beatles started it all for most of the classic rockers. They had a wide range of songs from pop to rock mellow and hard. Give a listen to: Helter Skelter , Back In the USSR, Get Back, Paperback Writer, Strawberry Fields Forever, Tax Man, Day Tripper, Hey Bull Dog, Rocky Racoon.... Hundreds of songs enjoy...

it's funny because there are so many of thier songs that I say, "oh that's the Beatles" when I was your age. it's amazing. also, it's amazing how many songs they wrote that other bands and artist performed that you don't realize until you do some homework and say, wow! the beatles wrote that too. it's pretty astonishing their body of work. great reaction.

A lot of the artwork, like the couple kissing, is from the stationary George Harrison wrote the lyrics and notes on. He got the stationary from a hotel in India. Eric Clapton was at his estate as they walked around George's garden and George wrote it and played it for him.
