When he feels rejected by her he goes to extremes to bring her down yet doesn't succeed. In fact he becomes crazy after poisoning her with the beetle 🪲 that he's sure has no cure. He's the greatest antagonist in the show. He represents the powerful Eunuch class that was hated by the Chinese.

Para ser justos, Qinlong no pensaba forzarla sino convencerla; con la experiencia que él tenía podía hacerla cambiar de parecer. La historia de estos dos es interesantisima desde un inicio: tuvieron sus ires y venires constantemente a lo largo de los años y eran prácticamente antagonicos, pero a pesar de que ambos se resistian terminaron juntos. Pasaron del mutuo desprecio y la animosidad al verdadero respeto, amor y admiración. Eran verdaderos iguales en todo el sentido de la palabra. Al final Yingluo obtuvo todo porque ella no lo deseaba en absoluto, y Qinlong la adoraba porque sabía bien que nunca podría obligarla ni someterla, ella era libre dentro de sí misma. Y también lo amó profundamente, pues él se ganó su respeto y ella era alguien que una vez escogia un camino, lo recorría hasta el final. Sé que hay quienes piensan que ella no amó al emperador, pero hay detalles que demuestran lo contrario; cuando llegaron a tener dificultades serias, ella mantenía la frialdad pero una vez que se quedaba sola su rostro mostraba angustia y tristeza. Yingluo no se derrumbaba frente a nada, pero eso no significaba que no le doliera; cuando contempló a la nueva consorte de verdad le preocupó que él ya no la amara. Tomen en cuenta que para ese momento ella no tenía necesidad alguna de volver con él, ya que ni tenían hijos y aunque él ya no la favoreciera con el respaldo de la Emperatriz viuda ella viviría cosiendo y cantando. Volvió porque quería a su marido y punto. Más tarde contemplamos escenas entre ellos donde la intimidad no puede ser más estrecha, y sutiles gestos de cariño que sólo se dan entre amantes. Cuando ella cae enferma, trata por todos los medios de calmar la angustia del emperador y darle consuelo, cosa que no harías por alguien que no amaras de verdad. Pudo ser feliz con Fuheng? Claro. Pero las cosas no se dieron así y al contrario de él, ella no vivía en la nostalgia, sino en el hoy. Le guardó cariño el resto de su vida y creo que también sentía compasión por él, porque él nunca pudo seguir adelante y volver a ser feliz.

Tienes razón, ella pudo seguir adelante y volver a amar, pero la forma en que se dieron las cosas, como obro el emperador, obsesionarse con ella aun sabiendo que Fu heng y ella se amaban, es bajo y rastrero, uso su poder para poseerla. Si el caso hubiese transcurrido en la actualidad, el emperador no hubiese podido hacer nada para impedir que ellos se amaran.

@@areg090 la verdadera pregunta es: qué tanto deseas lo que dices querer? En la guerra y el amor todo se vale. Qinlong sería un estúpido si no aprovechara todo lo que tenía a su alcance para conseguir a esta mujer. El emperador y Yingluo eran igual de tajantes en su manera de vivir : hasta las últimas consecuencias. Fuheng tuvo miedo y retrocedió cuando ella sí estuvo dispuesta a enfrentar lo que viniera, por eso él perdió. No olvides que cuando la emperatriz se enteró desesperada le dijo: jamás te perdonara ! Yingluo era de ese modo y por eso entendió los motivos del emperador y lo que hizo y nunca le guardó rencor. Ella pensaba del mismo modo.

Agreed! Noble Consort Gao, everyone knew she was evil, and she just had motives to stir up trouble in the harem, mostly out of boredom or power. Consort Chun, she just wanted power and didn’t ruin much but she had to put a face on and grow more in status, she truly did love Empress Xiaoxianchun, but she had different intentions because of Noble Consort Xian. Xian, she felt a fall out between her and emperor. She wanted his love, she wanted to humiliate others. She was called virtuous, humble, and noble, so no one could take her title, but her love for the emperor wasn’t reciprocated which drove her to sadness. (Watch ‘Ruyi’s Palace of Love’ too) What Erqing did was just disgusting. I used to like her character because she set Mingyu in her place and was very virtuous in the beginning but she became obsessed. She yearned for Fu’heng’s love which drove the relationship away. I despised her character, she was mad and crazy. She treated servants and people like they were of no value.

Bueno el hecho de ser pobre no necesariamente significa q solo sería una concubina pues recuerda q yingluo era una doncella y después solo un sirviente de rango muy bajo y sin embargo el emperador se enamoró de ella no sólo por su belleza si no por su inteligencia y que era una muy muy diferente de las demás mujeres

El Fuhen le salvó la vida a Yingluo, casándose con una mujer que no amaba, porque el emperador estaba celoso de él. Yingluo entonces, que nunca dejó de amar a Fuheng, al tener que ver a Fuheng con otra mujer, ella se sentía traicionada y siguió su camino sin él, pero con el mismo objetivo por el que entró a palacio que es, encontrar al asesino y vengar la muerte de su hermana, para ello ella necesitó subir de estatus, adquirir poder, hacer morir de un rayo que le cae en la cabeza a la madre del hermano del emperador que es la asesina y por encubrir a su hijo de violador, más al mismo violador de su hermana: el hermano del emperador al final del capítulo. A partir de la mitad de la trama parece que se olvida de la venganza de su hermana para subir al máximo de estatus ganándose la obsesión y el amor del emperador, pero en realidad Yingluo lo hace para vengar el suicidio de la emperatriz por culpa de las traiciones que sufre de parte de todo su círculo más cercano. Yingluo siempre ha estado calculando y analizado a cada persona y situación, suele estar siempre un paso en adelante de los demás, conoce cómo funcionan las emociones en cada persona para protegerse de la maldad de ellas, utiliza la maldad de las personas en contra del que la ejerce. En un punto ella llegó a la conclusión de que aunque tuviese las suficientes pruebas de que el hermano del emperador era el violador de su hermana, este no sería castigado, ya que gozaba de ser familiar cercano del emperador. ¿Qué hizo? Esperar a ver cómo el hermano del emperador se metía solito al pozo queriendo matar al mismo emperador para proclamarse, pero no lo consiguió y en traición fue castigado. Yingluo sabía que era la única forma de que el emperador le diera la pena de muerte a su propio hermano.

No. He may have liked her but like any spoiled person in power, he didn’t understand why she didn’t automatically throw herself at his feet. The more she refused him, (because she is still in love with Fuca Fuheng and Yingluo is loyal, first and foremost) the more the emperor liked her. This was novelty turned to slight obsession. Thus, Yingluo did want she did best, she thought on her feet and flipped the script. If she acted like she’d been planning this seduction (coughrapecoughcough) all along, then she became like all the other flowers in the garden in the emperor’s eyes. Also, the emperor would have that belief of his power taken away- this situation became her idea, not his. Most importantly, adults do not force their bodies or their affection onto another and then claim they love them or they’re doing what’s best for them. That is selfish and wrong, plain and simple.

@@Blackthorne369 I really don't think he would have gone through with forcing her as Yingluo previously made her feelings known and he would have to face the Empress. He was testing her and knew immediately what she was up to when she flipped 180 degrees on him. Which is why he let her go back to the palace, he had to keep face by telling her, she was shameless. He recognized her intelligence and ability to think on the fly. Empress Hoifa-Nara also said something similar, pity Yingluo wasn't a man.

Súper, buena escena. Me encantó. Me frustró el que ella perdiera a Fucha Fughen, y el emperador haya intervenido. El estuvo muy triste, nunca se recuperó de ese amor, y también creo que ella nunca dejo de amarlo. Solo que no podía ser, mientras el Emperador se opusiera ha esa relación, por su propio interés, nunca sucedería. Pues claro la historia era otra. Creo que ella realmente nunca amo al emperador, solo se entregó a su suerte y lo acepto. Saludos.

Honestamente, el personaje de Yingluo no es de las que se rinden y dejan a la suerte, ella no va con la corriente. Su personaje es de los que fingen ir a favor del flujo para apenas ve una oportunidad, cambiar todo a su favor. Obviamente ella no amaba al emperador en un principio, me atrevería decir que hasta lo odiaba, pero con el paso de los años se enamoró de ese emperador dominante y muchas veces infantil. Se demuestra cuando vuelve al palacio después del incidente de los anticonceptivas, y con las últimas palabras que le dedica a la emperatriz Hoifa-Nara. Para mí, Yingluo siempre le guardó un cariño especial a Fuheng, el cariño que guardas para tu primer amor, pero ya no era amor romántico. Después de todo, Fuheng soltó su mano primero, y Yingluo no es de las que mira hacia atrás

En un principio no sin embargo se ve como con el pasar del tiempo ellos buscan la compañía del otro, ríen y bailan y están en su mundo, ella realmente llegó a amarlo aunq no lo demostraba tan fácilmente pero el hecho de q ella buscará consolarlo cuando estaba abatido a incluso hacerlo reir demostraba su afecto hacia él también ver como ambos llegaban a comportarse como unos niños demuestran la confianza enorme q se tenían e incluso cuando quedó embarazada le dijo al emperador q no tendría el hijo de alguién a quien no amara Además incluso en la parte dos de esta historia cuando su hija ya está grande se nota la buena relación q se tienen aún cuando ya han pasado muchos años

It just saddens me that Yuan was really a great character in these episodes. He was my favorite but later he becomes a nightmare. Honestly never had hope in fuheng and Yinglou because she actually never loved him, Yinglou didn’t have time to love. She was always focused on her revenge, I think she was angry because somehow she was doing her best to be loyal and, although fuheng did it to protect her, she felt he was betraying her.
