When i saw Mitsuri, i thought "Oh great, here comes Miss Fanservice that will ruin pase for fanservice", but when i read more Demon Slayer, she end up to be a great character like most characters of this Franchise.

She's pretty much every girl's fantasy of being strong and being able to eat as much as they want without the worry of getting fat. She eats so much that even Iguro's snake is shocked.

I love how this girl became a pillar so she could get a strong man to protect her, but at the end she's stronger than half of them.

Somethings you forgot to mention: - Mitsuri was once a user of the flame breathing style, later on she created her own breath of love style. - Mitsuri has her hair in 3 braids, and 3 in Japanese is a lucky number because it can mean creation, referring to her creating a style of her own. - The first Kanji in her name ISN'T the same as Mitsutani. The Kanji in her name means ''honey'' referring to her love for honey and that she actually has bees. The second Kanji in her name means ''glassy'' referring to her 'hard to break' body but also very slim.

Tbh. The reason why Mitsuri is a great female character is not only bc she is surprisingly relatable, but because her ability to be positive, in such a bleak environment like the demon slaying corps, where people can die, is pretty inspiring. It reminds us that even when life gets tough, that we shouldn't forget to "live" To say Mitsuri is just for fanservice is such a huge disservice to her character.

thank u for this video on mitsuri’s character and not making out her character as a girl who joined demon corp jus to look for a husband who’s stronger than her because her character is so much more than that. she’s one of my most comfort characters. and my favorite from kny. i’ve always related to her and loved her beautiful personality. all of her character aspects when i was first reading the manga were jus incredible n unique to me, like her nichrin sword/breathing styles/design. she’s literally perfect and i love her so much. i’m glad she had a happy ending w iguro in the manga. :’) also i hate that mf who said those mean things about her. a coward for sure.

To me, Mitsuri’s character can be a spoof of anime’s cliche big boobed, shy loli girl trope. She still has a lot of the typical tropes of one like her shyness and clumsiness, infatuation with men, and of course her looks. But it’s presented in a more humble and realistic image that differs from the more over the top sexy portray in a lot of other anime’s because the focus is on HER instead of her body. She has more personality, defining character traits, personal struggles, and backstory that allow us to see her more as someone we can relate with than just being eye-candy. It’s nice to finally see the shy anime girl being a badass for once.

I’ve honestly never related to a fictional character more than Mitsuri. I’m also a hopeless romantic who grew up with a lot of insecurity issues because of my ADHD. I’m very shy, clumsy, tend to panic a lot, and easily become a blushing mess whenever I see any guy I find attractive. We even share the same body type and love of fried food. I can relate with her feelings of always being rejected just for being different and not meeting the typical standard norm, which I’ve eventually learned to accept about myself. I’m also happy that the snake pillar was in love with her since it shows that no matter how much you think your “undesirable” and unwanted by anyone, there will always be someone out there who will love you for who you are. 💕🍡

I don't like when people talk trash about any demon slayer character. Mitsuri had the most difficult breath style of all. To be very honest , I really never expected her to be that strong until I read the Swordsmith Village Arc storyline. She literally kicked Hantengu's ass. But against Muzan I think she was just a bit more unlucky as Iguro and Giyu were in similar position as her, but they somehow escaped the demon king's attack. The video also clearly says that Love breathing is a more advanced form of Flame Breathing. It explains enough that everything is not for Rengoku fanboys 🙄
