Sorry, but this is not correct. Robin was indeed a good songwriter, already at sixteen he wrote a favorite of mine, "I Am The World" But there is a reason that Barry is number 2 on the list of songwriters/producers of all time. Only topped by Paul McCartney.

The Mills Brothers are amazing! My dad had lots of their old records - he played them all the time when I was a kid. I hadn't heard them for decades then I found them on KZfaq some years back. Ellen Montgomery - More of a marketing ploy to get the "pretty boy" out front for the girlies. Robin got the shaft and I think he knew it. Maybe that is why he became more quiet and even sullen later on. Sadly and undeservedly, it took the wind out of his sails.
