Love the case got the white case love how my set up came out only issue was that the back panel was hard to close.. they could of gave it the slightest space in the back for a flush fit

@@electroknightyt9833 its definitely a bit tricky, where they have their zip tie mounts located on the case you really cant go there. What I found was best was going into the channel to the left and keeping all the wires tightly in there and it closed no problem and there is a few ziptie mounting spots as well

Appreciate it! I honestly have really been liking the Montech series of cases for my budget choices, they look nice and come with RGB fans and have pretty good airflow as well!

I'm new to PC building and I'm looking to do my first build and I'm looking to get this case. In another review, they talked about how the slots where you access things like a graphics card or WiFi adapter just pop out and you can't screw them back in. Does this at all affect the installation process of the graphics card or WiFi adapter?

No not at all! Purely asthetics that don't matter. Sometimes you can unscrew them and put them back on which you would rarely do anyway unless your selling the case after your done maybe? These just pop out but makes zero difference dont worry

Nice video! I have this case and I noticed the RGB lights aren’t coming on but the fans work just fine. Is there a separate cable for the lights on the RGB lights on the fan or is my case broken already🤦🏽♂️

I think for you to make an excellent video you should at least explain what you are doing so people can see and understand. Jay explains everything in detail. For me I have built many computers and I know people who don't know how really want people to explain what's going on throughout the build. I have seen so many videos where people can't make heads or tails in what the builder is doing. Hope this helps. I really do like your build. Keep up the good work.

Got this case for my sons build. I love it and so does he but my only problem was the wires for my front I/O didn’t reach around the back and out to the mobo again. So they’re just hanging there and I had to wrap a cable management tube around them.

In my newest video you can check out how I did it, it wasn't the X1 but the Montech Fighter 500 and the setup was similar. I wish the wires were a little more hidden but I made it work pretty goood

i just bought this case a while ago, when you said dealing with the fans, did you mean you put all the fan cable pins each individually? if so I’d like to know just to have that hint in my mind while building my pc in this case

Montech has them all connected already in a pair of 4, so just take your molex from your power supply and plug it into the bottom of the daisy chain. Once you see it in person, it will be really easy to understand how they go. They did all the hard work already for you!

I have this case, though the brand is under Inplay, which logo looks cleaner. Bought for around 30 bucks with a white version. Seems like one factory makes these cases then send them to random companies.

The one thing I don't like is the huge Montech logo its a bit clunky so I agree that aspect could be a bit cleaner

you should be able to no problem, the triple fan 1660 super looks to be 280mm wide and the case itself is 380mm wide and there shouldn't be anything inside the case that blocks it from fitting!

Zero problems what so ever, sounds like it could be user error? Everyone will have different experiences with different stuff but for me personally, I had a good experience with it!

Usually on the little pins on the bottom right of your motherboard...theyre definitely a little difficult and frustrating but thats where they're located!

I have that case but i cant manage the cables is hard with that case, and the psu cables cover the hdd case so is have to put a hdd down there

I noticed you definitely have to cable manage in the channel to the left, if you do it right where the zip tie brackets are its hard to close. It doesn't make much sense why they put them there but it can be done!

They don't even connect to the motherboard just directly to the power supply so just plug a molex into it and you're good to go

Do you need an RGB header being that these fans connect through molex? I have a dg33m03 motherboard so I don’t believe it has a header. I know that the Montech RGB fans are connected by molex and my 500w psu comes with molex connectors as well. Would I need a controller for the fans still or?

Hey man, I built my pc back in december and I brought this case after seeing this exact review :D. Now after some usage I noticed that the non-changeable fan lights in the front is irritating for my eyes. I wanna remove the leds from those fans light but not sure if that is possible at all. Can you help me out on this case ? or atleast just clarify that it is safe to remove led lights from cooler fans.

That is a good question actually that I don't have a definitive answer on, I would error on the side of caution and say that I probably wouldn't try to take the LED's out but that's just me. You could upgrade to some cheap fans though that have a controller or remote that allows you to control the LED's, I think upHere and Asiahorse sell like a 5 pack that goes for under $30

I have this same case but in white (I painted the front piece of mesh) the only thing I dislike about the case is the rgb fans are customizable. You’re stuck with that color scheme. I will be replacing the fans asap

yeah but on a budget these fans are great and the RGB is quite nice I think, it really saves quite a bit of money not having to go out and buy 4 or 5 additional RGB fans!

They just plug into the molex cable on your power supply they don't connect to the motherboard at all thats why

No controller they are static color, you could take those out though and put your own fans in. I recommend GIM fans they come with a controller and a hub and look amazing, I made a video on them if you want to check it out!

2 up top and 3 in the front! The RGB header is located on your motherboard not on any cases

@@adityamondal2480 it's possible you could, you can use double sided tape and just mount the sdd wherever and same for the hard drive just make sure that doesn't move around at all or it could damage it

All you have to do is take a molex plug from your power supply and plug that into one end of the daisy chained fans

Take your molex connector on your power supply (Google it to see what it looks like if you dont know) and plug that in to the bottom of the 4 fans that are connected at the back of the case, they look like 4 black squares connected to each other

I have this case and am currently building my pc, but am stuck on installing the power supply as I cannot open the bottom panel. I can't figure out what type of screws they are, or what to use to unscrew them. do you have any idea what specific tool I can use?
