Meh. I'd rather leave the detective genre to the indie boys. They might not be able to afford the best voice actors or motion capture, but they tend to be more willing to take risks and experiment with the actual mechanics.

If you mean "pretty graphics, famous voice actors, an orchestral score and a big old empty open-world map to go from point a to point b in with the occasional "random" event for you to get your shooty-bang-bang gun out for..." then yeah, most indies would struggle. If you mean novel and innovative game mechanics and a well-thought-out story, then Indies have got you covered. Obra Dinn remains a far better detective game than LA Noire, because its dev is a highly intelligent individual who enjoys messing around with mechanics and coming up with unique ideas that actually work that no AAA studio would dare taking a risk on.

To me, this is second to "The Consul's car" They're both just Cole being blunt and ruthless, in different ways. This one's sad in a good way, which is why I say it's second. But the first for me is just funny. It's literally just "You f*** young boys, Valdez?" The Consul's reaction before and after you bring out the evidence is also gold.
